Thanks man! If you do make that drive, Monday through Thursday is the best times to go . Friday through Sunday is rough trying to find a fishing spot because it gets crowded!!!! If you get there a hour before the gates open at 6 am you should be good! They always biting off shrimp bites. I like using live perch or Tilapia.

Good luck man, I’m trying to get out there also soon. Right now there’s Tarpon at the end of the jetties. And lots of speckle trout running up and down the first cut on the beach! Take some top water for the morning and evening, spoons during the day!

The Frozen shrimp H.E.B, all the other live bait from the bank with a cast net.

So you’re using live bait, but about how far down are you lettting the fish sit from your bobber? New to fishing in Texas. Great video btw

@@justinmtch Usually run a T knot , Size six circle hooks or seven, and at least A 3 to 4 ounce weigh

I want to believe it’s safe. I’m pretty sure they do testing, but who knows. I have met people that will not eat them , I have met people like myself that will batter them up and sizzle them up. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I eat fish from there all the time! No issues and yes, they test yearly for contaminates
