@@ElectronisoundsAudio Thinking about this some more, maybe the Intellijel 104 would be better for that since it has a bunch of mults, 4 I/O ports and MIDI builtin to the case above the 1U row 🤔 Eurorack pedal interfaces do exist, so you could have a bunch of pedals on the floor to trigger the FX chain with the rack at waist height to wiggle while playing a guitar into the rack 👍🏽

@@symbiat0 The thing is, the midi and audio are *not* built in to the Pallete case - you need more 1u modules from intelligel to access them. Something to think about. 👊

@@ElectronisoundsAudio ☝🏽Good point - the Intellijel 104 4U is cheaper than the Caixa 104 but then you need a couple of 1U tiles to take advantage of the Intellijel ports which probably makes the Intellijel more expensive. OTOH, I wish the Caixa had a 1U row because having things like a 1U O&C, perhaps a Steppy and / or some 1U Mosaic drum modules would be quite useful for a guitar player…

Dean, the sounds from BM3 in the first setup - one of your own packs?

Great video! Do you think this case is good for a first case for a Eurorack beginner? Im looking to build a rack for vocal synthesis with basic sound design/noise generation capabilities as well.

Yes, I do think it makes a fantastic first case! 😁👊 The included utilities at the top really make a difference imho, as one really needs these type of helpful utilities in a case, and you'd have to buy quite a few individual modules to do what this case already does, if that makes sense. I wanted to be sure and give you a correct answer, so I was going to test it to be sure, but i've just spent 2 days looking for the right cable to connect a standard mic into it, and I just can't find that cable to test (I was *sure* I had that cable, though?!), so i'm going to have to say, Maybe? I'm not 100% sure on this one. 😁👊

For reverb on iOS, I really like: Eventide Blackhole and Audio Damage EOS 2. For delay on iOS, I really like Audio Damage Dubstation 2. 👍👍
