she is the highest paid basketball athlete lol making over 3 million dollars a year Reese is very close second I think people who are new to the sport do not understand why people are frustrated It a women in a league that has 4 national titles have medals, so many others with the record to be in the convo as Goat But a women who is not even a pro nor a national title holder after losing back to back is still in the convo as the Goat Its truly a slap in the face to the ones who pave that way Clark is an amazing shooting but its because of the school she choose If she went to Uconn or SC or even Tennessee's D1 schools She would not even be given the opportunity to break the records she did I mean over 70% of the offense is going through you its pretty easy to break the records . Clark will have okay rookie year like all athletes who are going pro as well as the fact she will be target for many especially because her defense is terrible to experience pros that she will be facing will just eat her up I do believe er Sophomore year will be something to talk about

The WNBA is unbearable to watch. The only exception will be the Fever games. It’s nicknamed “The Airball League” for a reason. Believe me, I tried to watch it back in 97 or 98, whenever the WNBA was created. That didn’t last long for me. It was like watching junior high boys. A nice play or a nice shot here and there, but for the most part, extremely sloppy play. There is a very, very good reason the WNBA ran their mouth at Clay Travis until he offered them [this years championship team] a million dollars to play a winning HS boys team. They didn’t respond to that because they all know they’d get blown out of the water.

As a UCLA fan, I have to say that there is no one more deserving of the John Robert Wooden Award than Caitlin Clark. Caitlin's accomplishments on the court are many, but as a spokesperson for women's college basketball she is already bringing millions of new fans to the sport, both on television and in the arena's. It's rare for an athlete to come along that is transformational, someone whose presence at any location will fill it to capacity. Even among the greatest athletes in American history, offhand I can't think of anyone else who sold out stadiums everywhere they went.

3:08 You can see CC getting emotional watching someone like Dawn say that about her, couldn't keep from smiling ear to ear. It felt like throughout the season WNBA and women's basketball legends have been reluctant to give CC her flowers LIKE THAT. It always comes with an * or a negative about her fame and attention she gets. But Dawn (possibly in a moment of bliss and gratitude after having won the championship) said what i and many other women basketball fans have been thinking about Caitlin! Respect to Coach, she probably understands that Caitlin needed to hear this from someone like her which is why she said it.

45 records broken and reset are why she’s earned the National player of the year awards in the convo as the GOAT. She doesn’t need a national title to be in that discussion. (Neither does Dawn Staley. She also lost in the National title game in 1991.) Time and time again she knows she was able to do what she did because of Title IX, she pays tribute to those who came before her, the work she’s put in, and credits her coaches, teammates, and the love and support from the fans and media. She is humble. She is kind. She is role model on and off the court. May her light continue to shine bright!!!

Watching two 7 foot tall giants stand in the paint for 40 minutes isn't exactly compelling television. 30 foot 3 pointers are. And UConn winning felt inevitable. I really thought Iowa had a chance, especially after that 1st quarter.

There has been almost no one leaving any comment about the possibility of Clark going on to the 2024 Paris Olympic games, hopefully if it happens there may possibly be a rematch with Cardoso on the Brazil team in a U.S.A.-Brazil potential meeting. And bring on the Kellogg's cereal boxes with the U.S. Olympians on them, Clark included!

Wow. Caitlyn Clark is the real deal and has helped put women's college basketball at a place it has never been at before. Consider that there were four million more viewers of the Sunday's NCAA Women'd final than Monday's NCAA Men's Final. What impact Caitlyn will have on the WNBA and whether the increased viewership of women's college basketball will continue after Caitlyn is no longer a collegiate athlete remain to be seen. However, at this very moment, Caitlyn Clark, undoubtedly one of there greatest (if not the greatest) women's college basketball players of all time, has impacted women's basketball in a way unlike anyone else in the history of the sport.

Great interview. Cathy Engelbert, WNBA commissioner, knows where her bread is buttered and so do Caitlin's new WNBA coaches and teammates. They will provide all the help CC needs to transition and guide her team in the WNBA. From a marketing perspective it is in all of their best interest to help her success as CC is the main topic of basketball in the last 2 years. She'll bring many new viewers to WNBA and put money in everyone's pockets.

The road may end in not winning the national championship, but the road 🛣️ just got started. The chapter may end but the chapter is started. Let the next Caitlin Clark era begin in the WNBA when she become the top overall pick with no surprise if something goes wrong, CC will be a Fever in Indiana. This team hasn't won a championship since 2012. This is right up her alley. Clark and Boston will be the dynamic force duo. Once you build the team around girls to women in the WNBA, look out. Could be the next Golden State Warriors for the women in Indiana.

This is one of the most transcendent athletes to ever live. I have watched 4 womens hoops games in my life. The first WNBA game ever which was awful and the last 3 Clark games. Her journey on a quest for a chip in the WNBA I think will be an incredible narrative and story. I call her Steph with a pony tail. My favorite athlete alive. I have never rooted against women's sports, they just weren't compelling enough to watch. Just like Roussey she will change the game. BCC and ACC before CC and after CC. Long live the GOAT.

Definitely the GOAT of women’s college basketball. Titles are not necessary in the college game to be the Greatest as one only has up to four chances to win one. The cumulative stats and records that she holds makes her the GOAT in this regard. Titles are more appropriate in the Pro game because careers are longer and you are playing against the best of the best at that level.
