Caitlin Clark was a big reason they lost today 11 turnovers 33% from the three-point line and bad defense. she only scored because Carrington got injured and had to go to the bench. Caitlin needs to pick up the pace and move without the ball. I'm waiting for the excuses to pour on let me get y'all a box of Kleenex, let's hear about the refs and the coaches not coaching right let's hear about the bad teammates blame it on everyone except Caitlin. when you are the number one pick you .... come in and make an immediate impact.

Carrington took a page out of Ravens book and shut her down with one-on-one defense. Caitlin will be up all night licking her wounds. She is an outstanding shooter but you need more than that to win. Caitlin is not the only player who will get better this is everyone's first game. Carrington was a bench player and came in and locked her down this is only the beginning so buckle up.

Caitlin should be pissed because her own coach said she had players around her that could score at will. She lied. Too many turnovers. Too many slackers... rebounding sucked. Even if they got a new coach today, nothing will change overnight. Caitlin is paying her dues like all the greats have. She is a PROFESSIONAL basketball player now (less than 1%.) Everybody is good on this level, only 13 women from the draft made rosters this season, that’s how competitive the league is! Give her time, Rome wasn’t built in a day.

I mean ur speaking thru generalities, if you watched the game the coach wasnt challenging the dumb no contact fouls. The rotation had 3 primary ball handlers at one point. When she brings the ball down she gets blitzed and gets no help thus turning the ball over. It was a 40 minute game they had 5 timeouts. If you not playing and is coaching u gotta b the bigger person and know the right plays and adjustments. If your entire team looks clueless and mindless as it was you need to go.

@@Andre-jx8sr My main point which was asserted in my first sentence was concise. THE ONE GAME WAS BAD. We got our asses kicked‼️Okay, we get a new coach today, does that change this rebuilding team’s trajectory for this season? No it doesn’t because there has not been enough time to adjust. Fever suck hence why we’ve had two back to back #1 draft picks. It’s going to take time to mesh even with a new coach. Hopefully you can comprehend this one better.

Well why were they bad? So youre soley blaming their immaturity and lack of experience? Isnt it gotta have a leader to guide them especially younger players. I know Sherl Swoopes in the chat like didn't y'all call me a hater for saying her rookie year is going to be a transition. An it's only 12 wnba teams the only place she could have went and had automatic help from vets would be aces, seattle, phoenix, lynx. An even then the aces she would come off the bench, seattle has neka & diggins so she would just be a shooter or come off bench, phoenix she can gain knowledge but their vets are half way out the door an or injured. Dallas and Chicago have bigs but they literally couldn't get her based on her going #1 pick. She will get there... it's just her welcome to the league moment and the fever is perfect for her in fan base still close to middle America and organization money. Indian fever you can see is willing to heavily invest into cc you can see from just their media day vs Chicago sky also this is Boston's 2nd yr. But cc being with a majority young team expect a Houston rockets , Orlando, or okc and hopefully not Detroit.

This is not the worst thing. The worst thing is the Head Coach of Indiana is discouraging the 3s. She said in a press conference that Caitlin should not be going for all the 3s opportunities. What the F. That's super counterproductive. Caitlin got this far due to her 3s and to put a leash on her is a bonehead move. Like WOW. You could tell Clark threw off that leash in these final minutes, but they were too late. I'm betting y'all that if this continues for the next few games with that type of leash of no 3s from the Coach, they gonna FIRE HER. They need to let Clark do her thing. Gotten let go of the leash. Let Clark and Boston develop together properly without restrictions.

Caitlin is a Players Player. She don't like to lose. Unfortunately for Caitlin and Aleeya Boston, they have the wrong coach. Having the wrong coach loses you many games by itself in a Team Sport. Every Successful Basketball team needs three things as foundation to a Successful team. Two stars, they have that maybe 3 stars could be 4 with the right coach. And you need a coach. That's why LeBron James is the GOAT 🐐 👑 Basketball. He did everything with Rookie Head Coaches. Michael Jordan had Legendary Head Coach and Legendary General Manager.
