I have the silver one. Sapphire crystal, seiko designed movement. I bought it out of curiosity. Best value Chinese watch I have. Its really great if you can rock the 40mm (or39?) and want a cheap dress watch that doesn't look cheap. An example of how the Chinese makers are often stepping it up .If you're on the fence about it. Go ahead.

I do have a couple of Timex which I do enjoy; Expedition Scout and Weekender Chronograph. It all depends on which Timex watches you look at and get. Timex Ironman and their Marlin are also rated highly.

I have both the silver and black versions of this watch and managed to find and install an oyster style bracelet that tapers from 20mm to 16mm with a milled clasp. I have also brushed the top lugs to match the fully brushed oyster bracelet. It is no long a sumdge and finger print magnet. I've had this watch for 2 years now and it's built and works great! Good review man 🤙🏽

I think it's an excellent idea to expand beyond the AliExpress market. While there are loads of great deals on the site, I personally would run out of watches I genuinely would want to review/own from that site pretty quickly! That's no shade tho, I just picked up some amazing Chinese Sigva 007 headphones today!

Love these cadisen, they really are one of the biggest bargains out there!

I use to have the silver dial version of this. It is a lovely watch, and value for money. I ended up selling it though when I got my Starking AM0184. As I thought they were too similar, and opted to keep the Starking due to the nicer bracelet and hight beat movement.

Wasn't the cadisen better for the seiko movement, from what I have hear about starking is that the movement is not very precise and have a shorter life bc of high beat movement

Yes it is! I have it in both colours, gave another one away an will buy more to give away, pair it with a 10 dollar leather nato from Eache and you've got an amazing timepiece.

I revisit this old review just to see if you had the same kind of strap fashion show like on the more recent videos, since I need some tips on suitable straps lol. Just got this delievered from the latest AE sale. I already had the silver dial version from an earlier sale and thought: What the heck, if Jody has both dial versions, so can I! Everything has been said already on this watch, but I have to say that the bracelet on these is surprisingly comfortable on my tiny wrist, which I wasn't expecting from a butterfly clasp with no micro adjustments. Too bad they had to go with full polish (since the watch case is all polished), it's a bit too shiny for me. I've been wearing the silver dial one on a brown suede strap which looks really good, and I'm awaiting a couple of other straps I plan to try on these as well. However, I've been thinking of brushing the mid links on one of these bracelets to see how it looks just to blend down some of the shinyness. I actually haven't even tried that faux croc strap that came with both of these lol.

So funny you should put this comment today of all days! I was leaving the house today and wanted to change the watch I was wearing (I didn't want it to get scratched because I haven't reviewed it yet) so I put the Cadisen C1032 on and took it right off because I wasn't feeling like wearing the shiny bracelet - and I was thinking I should do a revisited "one year on the wrist" review AND brush the bracelet! I ended up picking my other Cadisen up (the Datejust homage). Oh and btw I almost bought the silver dial like 10 times already. I probably will someday. It's a great watch!

Usually I don't buy the same watch with just a different dial colour, but for this price I just couldn't help myself.

Aliexpress is a problem. Many manfucturers or retailer don't accept PayPal or charge for using it. Then there are warnings about additional costs after purchase for tariffs, that are a mystery till some later time. How do you get around this?

I never had issues with added costs. Each payment you make on AliExpress is secured and protected, and if something goes wrong, like if you don't get the product or it arrives broken AliExpress will refund your money each time.

I have swum with it a couple of times, it's fine for that.

You can easily take a swim with this watch

I almost spit out my coffee when I saw it on that yellow strap... that choice would be a BIG no IMO.
