I just had the pleasure of driving the XT5 for the last couple days it was an absolutely beautiful car, excited to see the XT4 come to the Canadian market very soon

That’s awesome! Did you rent it? The XT5 actually has less leg room than the XT4 even though it is bigger. I personally see so many similarities if you like the XT5 then you will most definitely like the XT4. GM does such a great job of advertising these cars but when it comes to actually getting them rolled out they are a little bit behind. Is cadillac big in Canada?

Hey Cody! I did end up renting it, I work for Enterprise so I get pretty good rates on rentals. I like to test drive different cars and really get a good feel for them. Especially since our customers ask about different features and benefits of each car. Cadillac seems to be doing well here, I know that one of the local dealerships Jack Carter is opening up a Carter Cadillac store in Calgary very soon. Western Canada’s first exclusive Cadillac dealership. I agree with you saying they are slow to roll out new vehicles. Even when I explore the GM websites online, it’s still showing mostly 2018 models for the Canadian websites. Meanwhile we have 2019’s at the dealers. I’m driving a 2019 Acadia SLE 2 right now. Seems pretty quick for a people mover 😉 Thanks, Codi

Auto E I honestly think sometimes Enterprise gets the cars before us dealers do. That’s awesome though you don’t have to worry about sellin’ them just show the customer the car and move on, I love that! The Acadia is a lot of bang for the buck those things sell really well in our area! We just got another XT4 in I’m sure I’ll throw down on that for another video today. I know why you drove those GM vehicles so often, it’s the heater right? I know it’s chilly up there today it’s even a little cold here! 😂

Yes! I seen a 2019 Malibu at a dealership, straight to Enterprise. They are already on the roads before anyone buys them. I call that buying power. The heat works very well in any GM vehicle haha. I have a Buick Verano, great heat. My girlfriend drives a Equinox great heat. It’s been warm here for us during this time of year. Above average temps. It was 77F one day last week. No fun when it gets down to snow and say 10F 😅

Auto E I can honestly say that Canada is about the only place I have any desire to ever go outside of the US. I think it would be so cool to get some of those epic snow shots!

Thak you for getting down to the most important nitty and gritty. So many videos talk impertinent details! I am comparing these and think I’m gonna go w another Cadillac crossover (I STILL have my beloved 2011 SRX!).

What about driving performance and acceleration and road noise? My SRX has much road noise. Though I love my car, I’m dreaming of a quieter cabin.

I have been researching XT4 vs. XT5 and the overall consensus is XT4 has loud cabin noise, XT5 does not

My 2021 xt5 has the 2L 4 cyl. Drives great. The v6 is not needed imo for this suv.

Get your face out of the way then I may watch this
