Cadillac has done it again. I owned a '59 and a '62, both convertibles, and I loved each one. The '59 was 21ft long and stood out in a crowd. Both were Eldorados. This new car is the epitome of grace and elegance.

It's funny, but those who remember when Cadillac really meant something WANT this to succeed. I remember my grandmother would buy a new Eldorado Barritz every two years. Back in the 1960s amd 1970s Cadillac was a big deal. It meant you arrived. Somehow they lose their way. But this is a sign they are back with a vengeance. Very excited about the Celestiq

The sharper arches at the top of the Escalade’s taillights make so much more sense now. I see the evolution of the Cadillac XT4’s taillights here too. Magnificent. I love when the design language flows from model to model but all slightly unique at the same time. This looks so much nicer than the interior of the RR Ghost.

I had a '50 Model 62, 331ci V-8, with a single barrel carb, first year with the hydromatic transmission, 5100lbs dry weight, all stock and driveable and a zippy- zero to 60mph in a day and a half. Also, owned 1st generation CT-5 V-Series and loved it, very nimble and great handling. Now I'm on the lookout for a clean Evolution...I was living in Detroit when the Evolution was ready to hit the streets and got to see one at the Cobo Hall Auto Show, and I popped a woody...very embarrassing...

A very nice car, I love the shape. Cadillac is finally making some great cars again. I have an old Cadillac Deville limo. But in the 80s to 2000 there were so many bad finishes, they weren't luxury cars anymore.

If you wanna be successful, you most take responsibility for your emotions, not place the blame on others. In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You most look outward if you wanna be successful in life.

The interior reminds me of computer generated interiors, like in a space video game. They make things in games have less texture, less "clutter" (buttons, knobs, vents, speakers, extra angles) mostly to save time, but it is interesting how this functional aspect of video games is beginning to influence real - word culture.

Or the other way around, that the world is influencing the video games & it's translating too our cars now

cadillac hat switched to this style after 2010 i think. the controversial cue infotainmentsystem and the attached middle console controls for climate and stuff were very minimalistic, but also redundant in a way that you could control them via the screen or touch on the black middle console. cue actually was a good idea, but too slow and the touch wasn'T sensitive enough. journalists mostly didnt like it. but lets be honest: you have your temperature and dont switch it around that much. if bad smells are outside you press the button for interior air circulation and nothing more. if you have music, you control it via the steering wheel. if you need traction control off, you control it via the steering wheel. and if you are driving, you dont need 100 buttons to press. the rest of the options is easily controllable in an options menu while standing still (stuff you setup once, like comfort entrance, lighting style and distribution on the road, rain sensor and more). and you certainly dont need 6 buttons for the cd changer like there is still in every beamer... the ct6 might be an interesting car for you. the 3 liter turbo engine is awesome. lightest vehicle in it's class, awesome ride quality. kind regards
