Let me just tell you, this car is literally so good. I'm a huge Mercedes Benz fan but when the driver picks me and my entourage up before or after shows, the car is just so relaxing and really helps you ease off.

I kind of wish there were more reviews of modestly priced vehicles. Great job on these though! Nice to see what the high end of the market is doing.

Sounds to me that some of you haters are jealous because yall can't afford it. The Escalade gets better for each generation and the competition can't compete successfully against it in sales volume. The GL comes close in volume but it is a car-based CUV on a different level.

I can easily afford this. I chose the Volvo XC90 T8 inscription over this, because frankly, a Volvo beat it. Goes pretty nice with my Model S.

The clip at 1:10 is an early 2015 model. I really don't like the power running boards, in the winter they get all clogged up with slush and stop working.

13.3l per 100km. was he driving in europe?! that's still very good considering it's probably one of the few vehicles that compete in size for a sub 10mpg hummer.

I was just gonna say the same thing! the badges on the steering wheel and rear door are from 2015 model but the front is the new cadillac logo from 2016 model. weird .. maybe is it a Canadian thing lol

While I love my new Sierra for what it is, a truck, I don't think I'd spend $100k+ on a SUV with the same ride quality. I think I'd direct my dollars towards a Range Rover or Cayenne. The harsh ride isn't unique to the Caddy either, quite a few owners with the Denali version of the Sierra (with magnetic ride) have the same complaints so there must be some tuning left to be done on that system.

This model is not built on the suburban/ Silverado chassis, that is the longer wheelbase, this model is the shorter Tahoe chassis.

I really don't get the second trow buckets in a vehicle meant for hauling passengers. I have been checking dealer stock locally and most seem to have the stupid buckets. Just a weird idea period yet seems very popular. It basically defeats the whole purpose of these trucks. A family vehicle with limited room for said family.

We have no cadillac in oz. could not afford the gas for it. We don't have cars with onstar on wifi on board either. Prices for our cars are double what North America pay also.

Rented one for a vacation to review it prior to purchase. I’m sorry exterior looks are where it stops. When taking into account the price tag there is waaaaayyyyyyy to much plastic. At that price level you have much better options.

For this price, you are into full size Range Rover, Lexus LX, Mercedes GL, etc. territory. Why anyone would buy this, I'll never understand. Great review though as always, Zack!

The Escalade is a great vehicle now more than the 3rd. gen. and I can see why anyone would choose this vehicle over the competition. The Range Rover is excellent for what it is but does not look as good like the Escalade, the LX is just too old on an ancient platform, the GL looks more like a car base SUV trying to be macho like the Escalade but can't pull it off and the QX80 is long in the tooth on styling. Question you should be asking is why the competitors don't generate the volume in sales like the Escalade does and fail at it.

No not really. You get used to the way it drives, and it feels like driving a large sedan.

sensible in a large suv is like premium gas or regular . sensible is not really relevant in a large suv its either you can afford it or you shouldnt. and thats has it should be sold

There's two versions, the base one and the long wheelbase version.

to be honest its sure beautyful leuxury truck but always have electricty problem when you looking down in gas pedal you see many elcectric wire and cable and that frghitening and Odious for a luxury truck but in toyota land cruser and lexus 570 everything is in the right place

Graph Guy Consumer Reports is nothing much than import dick sucking nutjobs. They probably rated the crappy and garbage Range Rover higher than the Escalade when the Range is the most unreliable pos on the road. Ranges spend more time in the shop than on the road due to horrible electric problems.
