Thanks to Bruno Jenson for designing this set! I got it about a mounth ago and can't stop looking at it! It is amazing. Cada could cranck up the quality of 1 or 2 of their pieces, but they are easy to replace. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for this great model. You gave me a lot of hope. Your colab work with Cada grants everyone the possibility to get their hands on a well built brick based building set. Unlike the utter embarrassment that the one danish company offers, this car has everything a enthusiast wants. The "Flexari" is by far the worst set I've ever seen. The best part is: both cars cost the same. That's a lot of bang for the buck. Keep up the good work.

Just finished building this, its fantastic. No problem with parts, just a couple of loose fittings. The wheels are shiny, like really shiny! I might have to dull them down a bit to be less of a distraction!

@@sibaraku2023 I'd argue that their System bricks are functionally at the same level, but I've also found that the CaDA sets that I own seem fragile, and I think that's just by virtue of them using less structurally rigid builds. My The CaDA RX7 feels a lot more flimsy than the Lego Mustang for example.

Last March I bought this set but I have not found time to patiently assemble it until now (September, 2023). I think that CaDa has really improved their moulds and the grip force of their parts, even system ones. Two years ago I assembled the CaDa Porcsche and it also exhibited grip problems in many parts. However, the transparent one-by-one brick that is constantly falling down at 06:20 in this video is, on the contrary, very firmly attached to the technic part in the model that I bought. Some reviewers did also report that the black axles (2 in length) kept on falling because of poor grip to other technic parts. Fortunately, in the edition that I bought this year, I have not detected any problems with these axles, the different types of connectors and so on. I suspect that CaDa have made a second edition because of the patent issues with the orange gearbox-shifter. My version of the C61042w comes with the new design introduced for the C61505W (the unofficial LaFerrari) instead of the original part by Lego-Technic. Most likely, this second edition might also have substituted old parts with newer moulded parts, axles, sistem bricks, etc.

The flow of the panels, especially along the sides at the door flowing into the rear and the side windows look incredible, easily beats out the LEGO supercars in terms of looking finished

You forgot the biggest pro.....it cost 1/3 of the Lego counterparts.

Not quite. I paid 148 dollars for mine (without box), I don't think LEGO would have had the nerve to ask almost 450 for something similar. Boxed, would have been close to 170 or something.

The paddles are so amazing, my god

My box is a little scuffed from 2 months of shipping time in a box with no padding. But I’m anxious to get it built and compare it to my 3 LEGO supercars. Talking about the quality of plastic vs LEGO, I’ve noticed that the sian parts just didn’t feel as good or slip together as well as the 911 from 2016. Mainly axles and pins. The UCS falcon is the same way. Bruno definitely has a masterpiece here, and he also has a video of instructions to fix fit issues that I can address while building it.

Thank you for this review. I must apologize for some of my comments about your LEGO buggy review, since you do look at other brick set producers. In my country, this car costs exactly the same as the new LEGO Ferrari, which is a horrible set to say the least. And this set here is fully and beautifully motorized, has a rechargeable battery box, remote control and lights. I am not sure about copyright infringements of LEGO parts. Apart from the minifigs, all LEGO technical parts have not had copyright protection for a long time. And LEGO copies other producers' parts. CaDA has also acknowledged Bruno Jenson as the creator of this car - hats off to him! - and made an incredible MOC available to the wider community at a most reasonable price.

I have not built this model yet but I do have few other CaDA sets. Some pins with axle (2 studs long) were a little loose as well as the 1x1 plates. Apart from that the quality of the parts was very good. CaDA is careful not to copy any protected designs.

Thanks for the review 👍 Agrees mostly with my thoughts, the only area I disagree is that I quite like the instructions. They allow you to work on bite sized modules rather than always trying to add pieces on to the whole car as you go. Guess it's a "YMMV" scenario

Regarding those molding/quality issues on the model - were there any CaDA specific parts that were bad? I'm thinking about buying this set and replacing any 'bad' part with a Lego piece from Bricklink or my own collection, so that nothing would fall of the model. Are there any parts that are specific to this model only? What about the colors? Do they differ from Lego? Is the difference more visible than the lime green on the Lambo Sian set? :)

Great design, beautiful set, professional review as always. I don't have moral issues with chinese bricks only in case that manufactures cooperate with designers not stealing their and LEGO projects. Btw. I'am not 100% sure but I saw copy of Sariel's mustang on aliexpress...

You have to be eagle eyed and sharp building this car...Mistakes are easily made and an absolute nightmare to fix.This was my 1st CADA set (but definately not my last !!!)

14:35 as I see the orange 2L Liftarms, you didn't do Bruno's suggested fix to the transmission. This could be why it doesn't shift as nicely in both directions? For me, it shifts great every time

I think none of Brunos fixes were applied, see rear fenders or door line. I think this was intended to be a review of the model „as it is“ without any modifications.

@@tropitropas949 fair point and I guess that's what you'd do with any Lego set. Is there a case to call Bruno's mods a legitimate part of the instructions though? I guess CaDA will include an errata sheet in a second edition.

Great model but I am unable to purchase any non-Lego though I might spend the extra money to buy the parts off bricklink if I decide I want it. Has CaDa ever asked if they could make sets of your models? Would you allow them to?

After watching this review, I have now decided to buy this (non motorised) and the 42123 Senna instead of the 42125 Ferrari. I was looking forward to 42125 but its a bit of a disappointment and vastly over priced. We will see if the cada moulding quality has improved!

@@demonix207 I didn't have any issues with misshapen ones like in this video. just 3 or 4 loose fittings between axles and connectors.

Amazing model. The only regrettable, is that it does not have the Ferrari logo. A pity for them, a miss opportunity to show it off in a beautiful model with amazing features.

Licensing issues kept them form adding the stickers I think.

After just buying a $170 lego Ferrari set that doesn’t have a gearbox at all is making me a bit annoyed for not finding caDa earlier

check Bruno's McLaren P1, its even more insane, it has 9 motors, just rofl..

On the review slide (18:37), the 5 stars given for PIECES must clearly be a misunderstanding. Not sure what context the slide is in, but assuming it's LEGO since 99% of your reviews are LEGO (fantastic job, btw), this should be ZERO stars, especially given your own notes in this very video about production imperfactions. I wouldn't have given even a 1 star. In my opinion zero would be a correct score on that category. Otherwise, great review video. Enjoyed watching very much.

Honestly, i've seen in other videos too that CaDa "buyed" this set from Bruno Jenson, and reading his comments i believe that this is a sort of true fact. But hearing about other MOC builders that had their design "stolen" (like the Lamborghini Centenario by TLego, that seems to bring now the credits to his own creator, something that i remember doesn't happened at the early moments) makes me always doubt about CaDa or other "Fake LEGO Brands" morality. I appreciate if those brand buy the MOCs from the designers, but if they stole it, it's not right. Just my opinion, but i'm open to hear yours. Anyway, this car looks cool!

I have the Cada's Centenario (C61041) and it doesn't appear to be stolen i.e. it has Thijs de Boer's signature and a short intro from the author in the instruction. As for the bricks and set themselves: the bricks have much lower quality than LEGO, sometimes bushes move on the axles freely etc. Also the instructions are not that well designed: sometimes during the build I have to keep a gearbox under a certain angle through a few steps or else all the gears will fall down. Also connecting the modules is really hard because many connected axles have to be set properly.

I assume they bought the rights to build and sell a LEGO MOC project, is that correct? @@sarielsreviews3196 he just messed a lil bit , ore maybe he wanted it to make down Lego even more , however they said to him that he must delete 13 Videos(what he did)only cause he used the word lego one or two times in a 20-30 minutes long video while he used cada or klemmbausteine (terminalbricks)like the whole video now he makes jokes like he has in the background NOT LEGO stickers on the boxes were is not lego in it.

Thanks for the video! I'll definitely NOT buy this set especially for this reason 5:53. I never had a CaDa product but seems pretty bad in quality...

No it's not a ripoff like Lepin. Cada designs their own products.

The car doesn't look that great to my eyes, but that is subjective. However, what is not is crooked and misaligned pieces not passing QC, even for a knockoff brand that brands themself as premium with such a set.

The #2 connectors are somewhat of a problem in this set. The 90° pin axle connectors also mostly have loose axle holes. Other than that, there's not much wrong with the pieces. But, you will notice those while building.

@@DeltaSierra0605 not sure about flimsy. By and large the construction is good, lots of cross bracing and all the panels are decently attached. The various fences and the 3L and 4L wings in the rear diffuser definitely pop off all the time, though. I'm not sure if they'd be better with Lego, or if the strange ways these parts are connected is just too tenuous? Genuinely don't know.

@@DeltaSierra0605 i have the lego Lamborghini and they struggle with quality as well. There are so many different shades of green in this set. I bout for 300 € and it has so many flaws with the quality of shades. My advice if you want to build this with lego cause of the quality use old lego pieces from old sets. In a ducati review lego had the same problem with red pieces and the funny thing is that some of the parts are exactly the same used in this cada set. For example the mirrors.

I built this last week. Once you get past the poor quality of the parts and the "Illegal" building used, it's not a bad model. There really wasn't anything building techniques that blew me away. It looks good, but it is flimsy as Hell. Unfortunately, that is the trade off with a good looking model. This model is leaps and bounds better than that blue piece of crap car that CADA released. That model design was so bad that I couldn't even finish it.

@@brunojj1 It was cheap enough to test out. Your model is not a bad model at all, it's just not the overall quality that you get from an official Lego model. The blue CADA model's connections are very weak and it almost falls apart just by looking at it. It's just not designed very well. If I spend my money on something, I am allowed to criticize it too. something that you will learn when selling a product is that every opinion isn't going to be flowers and rainbows. In he end, you get what you pay for.
