Italian Supercar comes in an exquisite packaging which is a piece of art in itself. On the box you will find Bruno J's written nickname and his signature. The C61042 set consists of 3187 pieces which are packed in 6 numbered boxes. A top quality, multi-colour instruction book with the designer's self-introduction and detailed building steps, easy to follow thanks to the well-thought design work, delivers a unique and satisfying building experience.
The model itself is considered to be both - a faithful 1:8 scale replica deservedly sitting on a collectors´ shelf and a functional RC fun toy at the same time. The chassis is built from 3 basic modules with sophisticated bodywork on top. The car features great playability with manually opening bonnet, engine hood, glove box and doors with functional door locks. Along with independent wheel suspension there is a detailed V8 cylinder engine sitting at the back. The main functions are operated remotely: LED lights, driving, steering and a 4-speed sequential gearbox. You can see all the moving parts in action without even touching the car: engine pistons, steering wheel, shift paddles and gear indicator.

I watched this for fully five minutes before I realised this isn't an actual Lego set. Just found it for sale for a whisker under £190, which frankly isn't a bad price for this, especially since Lego would top £400 for it if they'd done it.

Those building this car would certainly benefit by using the minor modifications made by creator Bruno Jenson to improve gearbox functionality as well as some cosmetic changes to the body. These mods can be found on his KZread channel.

Its their genuine design with 4 gears transmission and led lights, controllable via remote. would love to see them in demo.
Just look up some revieuws on this set/brand. Like the Lego sian this set has also 50 shades of colour. Parts dont fit good sometimes so stuff falls off or just dangles (look at the mirror). The design is cool but its just cheap stuff that is used. Where Lego keeps it value and sometimes even doubles it original price (like the orange Porsche wich retailed at 300-350 dollars and now its worth build 500-550, original packaged 650 and up).

I see you are missing one red panel (rear right fender). My set missed the exact same panel. However, when I checked the parts list, the part is indeed listed only 7 times, while it's counterpart is listed the correct 8 times. Any ideas?!
The fact is that they buy the original lego technic pieces and sell them again as a set Thats just smart

Really? I bought one set from CaDa couple of days ago, their bricks is different from lego, printed CaDa rather than Lego, I assume they product bricks by themselfs

@@umut_af5806 Actually they produce bricks by themselves... There's still a difference between Cada bricks and Lego's. Cada bricks quality is good and close to Lego's quality, but not the same or above Lego's.

@@umut_af5806 Why would they resell original lego parts? Material cost is dirt cheap and they probably have access to the same or similar machines as Lego given that both produce in China.

Can you please tell me where #5 sticker goes? Three times I checked in the manuals and didn't find the position. On book 6 it's somehow shown, but not in detail, not on which part to stick.

It is not a counterfeit. Lego lost the copyright to most of their bricks years ago and everyone can produce them. It is absolutely legal to sell and buy these sets. The have no license from Ferrari, but this is clearly just a "generic Italien super car". *winkwink

Lego patents expired few years ago, they have nothing to say about it and thats a good thing because lego patented not only their block linking system but also multiple other systems to patent lock any competition that might have try to do something similar. They were effing proud of it with patent application for multiple linking systems hanging behind their ceo desk and thats why for decades lego were only overpriced monopolist on the market. Fortunately its over now, this kits are even oficially marketed as lego-compatible.

Is this better than the cada Lambo?. I built the Lambo and found tat most of it didn't work correctly and seemed to fall apart very easily

I built both this set as well as the Lamborghini by CaDA and the instructions are pretty good. They do cram more steps into one compared to lego but the pictures are colorful and large so you will know where to put the pieces. If you built the Lambo then the ferrari instructions are a huge improvement. CaDA is a responsible chinese brand and with Bruno working with them you should have no issues with this set.

Is this actually Lego or is this some cheap knock off like Lepin? I did read that it came from Bruno Jensen, but still though. I just like to make sure. Also, what scale is this? It looks like it's 1:8 Scale.

a Chinese brand as well. They collaborated with some independent designers to make their designs come true. Just like how Lego ideas works. There is a factory in China producing so-called 高砖 ”high quality bricks" which represents like Lego's 70% to 90% quality. Not sure if this set is made of high quality brick but overall it looks nice to me
