This is one of the best things I've seen you pull Christy...that one came out needing a frame and a wall to itself! ❤ B

Ahhh thank you for that sweet comment. It turned out well and what you don’t see behind the scenes is the stack of prints which didn’t turn out as expected and then this one showed up. lol.

Would never have thought to put those two stencils together. I agree with your analysis of the print it could not have been any better. You made great choices! Thank you for sharing.

There are gaps in this video, and the sequence doesn’t marry up to the final print. 🤔

What an interesting technique and result. I noticed you have your gel plates on plexiglass. Do they stay on it all the time? Do you cover the gel plates after using? I've cracked my clam shell and am wondering how best to keep/store it between printings. Thanks.

Thank you so much. I appreciate that you watched. I keep my gel plates on the acrylic plates all the time, I no longer put them back into the clamshells. In fact I was gone 4 months this winter and left them out during that time, I did have to condition them a couple times when I got home but they fared very well. I do condition my plates usually about once a week. I use baby oil to condition my plates but mineral oil works well too. I should also say that I live in a fairly dry climate. Hope that helps.

@@christyhartman Thank you so much for this info. I also live in a dry climate - Arizona. Do you have a video on conditioning the gel plate. I've watched quite a few, and they are all over the place. Thanks, again

@@margaretsummers3712 I don’t have a video about it but it is so simple. I clean the plate with a baby wipe and then squirt some baby oil on the plate and it’s about a quarter sized dollop. It’s really about experience how much you use. It will not hurt the plate if you have too much but err on the side of caution and see how much works for your plates. Then I use a baby wipe to wipe the baby oil over the plate. I let it sit for a few hours to absorb the oil and you are good to go. I’m a firm believer in conditioning your plate. We head to AZ in the winter months. I understand the conditions you are dealing with. Thank you for the questions.
