Really, I’m not sure if I could limit it to just 7 rigs though. Marmon, KW, GMC Astro, General, REO, Peterbuilt, Mack, Autocar, Western Star, Dodge, Diamond T, White, Ford. I just wouldn’t want to limit myself, you know? I would have to own 10 acres of land, a 5000 sq foot garage, and be incredibly rich in 💰💰💰! And a wife that really enjoyed riding in a semi truck. Lol! That’s almost as good as a time machine. Right? What can I say...Got truckin in the blood!

    Trident UK 🇺🇸 Not everyone likes the long wheelbase trucks...that’s OK. Stretched...I know from experience that it does make a big difference in the way a truck rides. It does limit the areas you can drive in...not too good in tight city maneuvers. It changes the look altogether. I like some trucks just being original, unlike some people who like to stretch everything, and to the max. But cabovers are just simply very cool! This Pete...it makes this rig so awesome looking! 🤩 Really...seeing it in person really was impressive! We could see all the bling and details that he put into it. That’s what it’s all about...seeing all that goes into a rig, especially an older rig. Have a great and safe day! ✌️

  • @the.porter.productions

    @the.porter.productions

    3 жыл бұрын

    🇺🇸 Hey, Good question. 🧐 1st...I’ve seen longer frames. There are several reasons for a stretched frame: Longer frames can improve the ride, Some rigs look better longer, Some people think bigger is better, Some jobs may need more axles, Some just want something different, Some think it’s a way to just simply improve on what the manufacturer has already done. In the USA, we don’t have too many length restrictions per say, as they might in the UK. I’m a bit more practical, but I do appreciate all the work that goes into some of these fine old trucks. Just because a truck is old doesn’t mean that it’s lost it’s usefulness! 🧐 Thanks for checking us out. Hope that this was somewhat helpful and maybe even funny. Have a blessed New Year! 🤩

    🇺🇸 Not everyone likes a stretched frame. I’m not sure that many places in Europe would be appropriate for a stretched truck, but who knows. They make it tight in any city driving, but great out on the open highway! They really make a difference in the ride. Thanks for checking us out. Blessings! 🎄🤩✌️

    Oklahoma truck spotting Thanks! We spot quite a few in places, but don’t always get to take pics or video of them. I own a cabover IH Walmart truck. Love to see some of the ol trucks out on the road...especially when they look that nice...and with a Cat engine to boot!
