I've always liked cabovers. Most of them gone extinct here in the USA over the years.

🇺🇸 Happy New Year to ya and thanks for checking us out. 🤩 We still see quite a few cabovers out there, but are unable to catch some of them. They are wonderful to see! Try to get info on truck shows so that you can see them there…all cleaned up and in their glory. They seem to be coming out of the woodwork in the last few years. They may not regain their popularity, but some truckers are bringing them back. Check out the Gentry channel…he loves cabovers and has several in his inventory. Take care! 🥰✌️

🇺🇸 There was only 1 cabover, but there were 2 trucks driving together from the same town…a KW & Pete.🥰 Both classics. 😎 Either way, a great catch for us. Good Truckin! 🤩 Hope you liked & thanks for checking us out. 🥰🤩✌️

Nothing wrong with cabovers. Had 3 or 4 up until 1980 when I bought my first 359 extend hood Pete

@@bertgrau3934 🇺🇸 Yeah, I get ya. Every cabover that I’ve driven or ridden in rode quite differently!🧐 My brother had several over the years & put several million miles on them. He would change rears, go automatic & little cosmetic things, but still he preferred most cabovers. 🥰 I preferred a long wheelbase single axle…I think they ride better. All trucks ride better with a trailer!🧐 I know some old timers that walked away from cabovers & never went back. I’ve always admired the look, lines & style of the cabovers…they are quite different from conventionals. Like I said before, you either love em or hate em. I still love em! It’s a shame that many other countries are using them like crazy & still make them in the UK.🤪 Take care my friend. 🥰😎✌️

@@the.porter.productions I don't hate them, but I'm retired so I'm not driving them anymore. After nearly 44 years, and about 15 years in cab overs I just got tired of it. I retired last January, the last 2 years were the worst. I worked with a lot of brokers sent to the wrong place, or gave me wrong pick up numbers. I was glad to get away from it. One thing I did like, over the years trucks got more comfortable ride, heat, and A/C . Have a wonderful weekend sir 😊

I’m crazy about cabovers i owne a 86 Peterbilt cabover bin in storage since 2012 but i wanna get her on the road i was hoping for this year 2022 but my 2000 w9 is just milking my wallet and half the year is already gone so 🤷🏾‍♂️

Well, I guess that’s one way of looking at it. You do get a higher point of view in a cabover and they’re great in city driving. They do look pretty awesome! I’ve driven both and still love the cabovers. 🤩

@@the.porter.productions I think that's a great looking cabover. I too have driven both and for me backing the trailer the c.o.e. was easier but with both on the same suspension the conventional had the better ride

@@jerrywalker5429 🇺🇸 The ride on the conventionals would be better. I think that’s why many people extend the frames on the cabovers to make them a little better riding. A little bit can go a long way when it comes to making a smoother ride. Air ride makes a BIG difference. I’m glad to have driven a variety of the old trucks earlier in my life.

🇺🇸Most of the truckers we know appreciate a good compliment on their rigs and a little bit of conversation. They were good ol truckers from WV. He wasn’t delayed any and there wasn’t any tailgating involved. He saw my IRT (Ice Road Truckers) hat, my Truckin signs/stickers on our van...so I believe that he knew that we were genuine Truck Lovers. We were headed the same direction, so I pulled off and gave them the friendly wave. My boys were thrilled to catch a KW Cabover and 379 Pete. Hope you enjoyed the catch of two fine trucks in action and Thanks for checking us out. 🤩

🇺🇸 Nope...the Pete behind him was his buddy...going the same way.

Kenworth quite building them in 1996 to make what they called an amazing new truck..the T 2000..Which wound up being one of worst piece of junk Kenworth ever made.

🇺🇸 Jim, I really liked the T2000 looks and design. I’ve driven one now several times and liked it for the experience of getting to drive one. They were popular for a while, even in tv shows(18 Wheels Of Justice) and I think there are some that really like them. Compared to the cabover, the T2000 can’t even be in the same category. They sure had some good features that I liked, but I can’t say that they were the worst trucks. The little cabovers that they put their badging on I think were the worst, cabovers anyway. I would like to see even some of the newer cabovers that they make over seas. Hope you liked our video.
