All videos on this topic gloss over taking the glovebox panel off. They all say start at the bottom but never have a good camera angle. I tried for over an hour and a half and couldn’t get the damn thing loose

Is there a reason for disconnecting the wires?

The only wires that disconnect was on the glove box, and I removed it to keep from damaging it there was some wiring in front of the filter door and I just moved them to a side to get the door open.
