So this is why the dealership wanted to charge me $125.00+ to change the filter because of seven screws and a filter. SMH! Doing it my darn self next time.

Because of this video I was able to change my cabin air filter by myself. Thanks Ed!

You're welcome. In these vehicles (US models) , there is no special filter or system for rear seat passengers. All the air is filtered through this unit, but gets distributed all over through ducts.

How's it holding up so far? I used to use Fram as well as other big store branded ones, but I had to test out the fancy technology, definitely worth it for taking my allergies.

VK56VD. It's a little noisy, but very refined in power delivery. I like that

Sometimes they are buried way in there!

Basically the vehicle has 2 filters. Air and cabin filter.

Great explanation but good grief they could have made it easier to get to. My Hyundai in cabin filter is accessible in under 1 minute.

I agree, for something that should be done once a year, it could have been more accessible. Otherwise, if it's serviced as often as recommended, I foresee a lot of lost fasteners and interior squeaks. Lol
