Mandalore played the 2011 dangerous hunt live on stream. It's the one you are referencing seeing in a Machinima. In it, it turns out that the father makes you eat a raw deer heart because * scrolls down notes * he was posessed by the spirit of a demonic prehistoric hyena and wants you to follow in his steps and possibly gain superpowers. The plot is somehow even more unhinged than 2013's, with baboon mutants being trained in specialised camps in hidden locations in Africa and demonic hyena spirits, but the ending was rushed and ends up very unsatisfying. It might be worth watching on your own time if you have time to kill, but it's not a high recommendation

@@strawberin0 Even in the early days, the games could get insane. In the second Dangerous Hunts game, the penultimate boss is a giant polar bear. What's the final boss? A goddamn yeti.
