I do my cabbage rolls with ground mild italian sausage and green onions and crushed garlic, since I do so many when I harvest my cabbage I just use my spaghetti sauce Or marinara when I cook them but I valcumn seal the cabbage rolls and put in freezer for future meals on days I am tired from work and garden and it’s a easy dinner. Thanks for your recipe I know many will love it

At my house in Greece, we don't use tomato sauce. We use beef or chicken broth in cooking and serve it with a lot of thin béchamel or mornay sauce and lemons.

How did you get so many cabbage leafs the exact size to fit like that in the pan

It’s all in how you roll them but alternatively you can cut the larger ones to size using a saucer as a template.

No need to boil cabbage. Just freeze overnight...thaw...and they are soft.
