CA Sig Sauer P365! First 490 Rounds!

With the Sig Sauer now on the California Handgun roster I was excited to take one out, and get some shots in with it. I took 500 rounds, but because I shot 10 from my Sig P365 I only ended up shooting 490 rounds through the CA Sig.
.
Aside from the magazine disconnect, manual safety, and loaded chamber indicator it’s pretty much the same. It shot better than I do, and I had a ton of fun filming this video.
.
I hope you enjoyed it, and don’t forget to hit that subscribe button. If you’d like to have a 1k round update, 2k , 5k etc let us know in the comments section below.

As always I appreciate you, and I’ll see you in the next video!!!!

Why would anyone think is any different functioning than the one you can get in America? It is still a p365 woth a lame ass mag disconnect and loaded round indicator. The manual safety was always an option.

Looks like you answered my questions and everything I needed to know! Another person stated that the sig p365 CA has a trigger weight safety mechanism. Is that true? I’m your opinion, is the p366 the absolute best out of the new November releases for CA ccw? My other two options are the hellcat and shield pro. I’m looking to get the best. Amazing video! Just purchased the p365. Fired 50 rounds only as it was hard to load the magazines even with the loader. Here in Cal we are restricted to 10 rounds. Hearing 250 rounds is the sweet spot to use slide lock with greater ease. Don’t know for sure. 👍

Same here. The magazine follower has sharp edges that catch on the cornes of the magazine, so when you load about 4 rounds in to the mag it starts sticking. I found that grinding the corners of the follower agains the inside of the mag to smooth it out helps some. Also I keep the mags fully loaded to help with spring compression. I'm close to 1000 rounds and it does get better. Also, I just started using an ETS mag loader and that helped tons.

According to the Manufacture, 500/1 FTF is average reliability. However, the Sig P365 has a 1,300/1 FTF making it a above average reliability. When the first Gen came out it was 800/1, due to a failure in a rear spring system behind the mag. They've since fixed that on the Gen 2 and that bumped it up to 1,300/1. Soo much better. Some people have it at 4000/1 in the recent year, which is ridiculous cause when Glock came out they raised the bar from 500/1 to 1000/1 Manufacture standards. So now any weapon coming out, most Manufactures have a 1000/1 FTF standard. Which is nice.

@@dirtybirdusa Yes once the mags get shot a few times they loosen up. But brand new my thumbs just wouldn't quite make it on the tenth round so I did use a mag loader until they loosened up. Now I don't need it. I have over 600 rounds of all kinds of ammo through mine and its still accurate and flawless. Of those 600 rounds of hollow point and FMJ/ball, 300 of them were aluminum case and if it were to fail it would be aluminum since aluminum expands in the chamber more than brass causing extraction problems. I do have to watch the COL or cartridge overall length and bullet type when I reload ammo for the 365 though because the tolerances are tighter on it than on some other pistols. So if I get out of factory specifications too much I run into problems with the 365.

Only a .25 fraction of a second difference. Also, I like the rack and shoot, cause it gives the bad guy an audible warning, if he still ensues, pop pop. Second, I just don't want to shoot my family jewels.
