Shane, Thanks so much for making this post man! Truth be told, the decrease in videos has been related to work being busy. Other than Thanksgiving (which was jam packed anyway) the last weekend I didn’t work was October 1st. There have been a lot of nights where I wanted to make a video but it was already 2am before I could have started. A lot of that is self-inflicted, taking extra shifts to pay for the unexpected extra costs once we found out how pricy they C8 Z06 would be. So far, of all the videos I make, C8 Z06 videos are the only ones large groups of people want to watch. I have to do all the research anyway because I’m curious, so they aren’t usually all that difficult to do. I love making them, but there were times (rarely) when I felt like I made a video just because I needed to stay on track to hit the monetization goals. As it stands now, I have no more goals left to accomplish on KZread. I already have my dream job so I’m just going to focus on putting out good content that people will like. I do want to encourage an audience that wants to watch my rebuild projects as well, but I’m hoping that doing a little of both will allow me to only feature entertaining videos worth watching on each topic without trying to stretch content and make videos just for the sake of making them. I expect Corvette news and updates will remain about at least half of what I do here, I’m just more hopeful than ever that my project videos will start to get more than 30-50 views :) Most of all though, I was completely last to market with this eray video because of editing difficulties and I was wondering if I should even post it or if anyone would care. To hear you excited about it really made my day. Thanks man!

I am here because Hoovies garage mentioned you. I watched one video of yours and instantly was hooked, honesty surprised you only have 1k subs you have better quality content that some channels with 100k subs. Keep up the good work dude!!

The hybrid with AWD is really exciting. Fact is I’m first on the list with my dealer. Although I like to see it in person the Cacti colour is to my liking. I’m very happy to see no carbon flash on the sides. I had to pay extra to have my 2022 C8 painted. That still rankles me. Bottom line I’m excited! Cheers.

Awesome man! Sounds like they built it just for you! I’m very interested too, but I like the carbon flash trim better.

Maybe someone got in trouble for the "leak" and maybe not. Might just be some pretty impressive free advertising with the content creators such as yourself. :)

It’s a good point, but that would be very forward thinking of GM, and they pulled it after less than an hour. If they did do it on purpose, I say good on them :)

Turned down an offer to be #2 on a dealership’s E Ray list I can’t believe it now that the E Ray has been released and kicking myself for this! I am way too far down on the C8 Z06 list to get one lucky if I get a Z06 by 2027 oh boy.

Just be patient, it will come. Stay tuned to the channel for info about Ciocca’s E-Ray list once they announce their plans.

This is nuts, Luke: they take forever to come out with a proper configurator for Z06, and then jump the gun by prematurely showing everybody the ERay model. I’m curious what this is to be crossed-shopped with. Are the McLaren Artura and the Ferrari 296 what they are potentially benchmarking against at least in terms of performance? Having a proper V8 would be a very positive point of comparison to the V6’s in both of those cars.

I think it is it’s own thing. Take an engine known form acceleration, make it awd and add more power. As far as the website, I only know what Harlan said. The Corvette team does not do the websites and they have asked to bring that in house. They are hoping to be able to in the future.

I’m just curious if it’s gonna be the same price as a stingray or if it’s gonna cost more because of the hybrid system

I think it’ll cost more but not too much more. I figure starting MSRP around 30k, but we’ll see.

I think the E-Ray will smoke the Z06 but I'm not a fan of either.

Is it the styling you don’t like? I can see that. I’d favor a design with more curves and fewer lines if it were up to me.

@@RecordsRebuilds Yes. I think the standard C8 was a great body style for the Z06 to be based off of. But there are too many things about the Z06 styling that annoy me. Too many to list in a KZread post. The design team dropped the ball there big time. Also, I don't feel the flat plane crank LT6 is all that's hyped up to be. Flat plane crank engines require a lot of maintenance. More than the common Corvette guy is used to. And the roll out from GM has been a debacle from the beginning. So much so that IMO this car is not worth the time of day. It's a track focused performance car with no track numbers. That within itself seems strange to me. I wouldn't be surprised if Marry Barra ends production on the Z06 after a year or two. So if this is a ride you fancy I would pay the price and get it while you can. Happy New Year, Cheers!

@@RecordsRebuilds congrats on the subs! Love it or hate it, I gave up my C8 Z06 spot for a Last Call 807hp Jailbreak just due to the fact that I want to go 200+ mph and still be under stock warranty. For the turns,.. well I still have my GT350 in a 6 speed manual to get crazy with. Just can't stomach the Z07 pricetag at only 190mph. And yes I do actually go that fast.
