Thanks for your great video! You did a very good job pronouncing my name, actually better than most do over here in Bavaria! 😉 I would also like to extend my kudos to the Laubwerk team. Preparing those plants takes teamwork. There’s a lot more going on behind the scenes than just the modeling and texturing I do!

@@effectatron in all seriousness, this is a great tutorial and I really appreciate the extra talk on the lighting. It was always a struggle for me using Forester.
It comes at the right time, I have a project where a playground will be built in a forest! Therefore I used the assets and it really looks great, for the other trees like Beech I had to download a turbosquid file where I had apply every single material manually 😅
Thanks for featuring the new Laubwerk trees inside Cinema 4D! Great video!

THANK YOU these trees are fantastic!!
FINALLY lol sheeeesh been finding broken UV'd tree's and having to totally retexture myself for far too long haha.
That Daughter+Dog interruption😂
Greatttt thank yOU ^^

No problem 😊
Hey Derek 👋🏻 Awsome tutorial as always. What do you think about making a tutorial about snow? :))
Hey Effectatron! Love your tutorials man! Just curious if you have any methods to add some color variation to the trees without tweaking each individual material?
@effectatron

You can use an effector like random and use that color info in the nodes, user color data i think... I need to play around with it but That was actually something i wanted to look into more. And thanks!

I was able to get great results with the jitter node.
In my opinion this trees are not for scatter, because render time is too long. This tutorial is amazing
If you have opputronity to show how to make a wind over trees like a rotor of helicopter effect, it will be cool! However thanks for this tutorial as well!
Are these assets (or "capsules") available for people who have C4d + Redshift, or only for those who have the full Maxon One?
@effectatron

I do not have Maxon one. They are asset for anyone with c4d subscription
Can project engineering be purchased
fyi forester does well too and one click redshift / octane etc

Oh is is easy with redshift? Might keep an eye on a sale for it then. How's it look?
Can it fake wind? Like Forester.

You can apply any effector or deformer to them. I haven't used forester so I can't say for sure

@@effectatron But that effects the whole tree? Not just the leaves I guess? Thanks for the great vid btw!
@effectatron
Жыл бұрын
@viktorragnemar9018 I was actually playing around with using a spherical field so it only affected the leaves. Seems doable but I doubt it's as easy as forester.

@@viktorragnemar9018 Did you have any luck with animating the assets?

@@JoshPennDesign Never tried but I guess Fields would be the best way to go about it.
@RockstarGames
I’m using corona not redshift what can I do?🥲

convert the materials to corona materials by using the texture maps
