Hi Roar The idle sound is sooo sweet. Im in progress of starting a similar bare-bones project with a '89 Omega. I'm building a naturally aspirated engine with the C20NE head on a X22SE block.

@le' nikt I've sold the Omega, but kept the engine for a future build. It's for road-use with little visual mods on the exterior of the engine. The bigger block has more stroke and will increase torque. In combination with the optimized 8V-head, intake and exhaust the engine makes 170hp. It may end up in a street-legal Kadett-B track tool...I think that would be a fun project 😏

I am running 650cc injectors. Electromotive tec gt management. Speec clutch 550 nm+. 86mm je pistons. crower rods. High performance cam. Ported head. Gtx3076r turbo. Selfbuildt exhaust manifold and intake manifold an so on...

How many hours or kilometers or miles before revidation the engine? Where is blow off valve??? Feels like air partly comes out from inlet system...Or it`s not ended project???

blow off was not mounted at the time. engine was not tuned right. but now it is engine is being rebuilt at this very moment, should be a little more power this time:)

the car is an opel omega a 1988.. or vauxhall carlton gonna try and film som more but it will be in the dark so only the flames from my wg will be seen:)

yes its got a head gasket:) and its a cometic 5 layer steel gasket

what head studs/bolts?Tightening torque?My c20ne blow stock gasket at 0.5 bar

dawwa wadwa original head bolts original torque.. if you blow head gaskets you need to get your head and block resurfaced .
