NUCCA neck adjustment combined with prolo. Also doctor hauser does full neck, unlike others that just do two little shot at base of head (that’s nothing). Seen major improvement in first two visits.

@@scooterthekidd no, back home different province/state. Almost all major cities have at least a couple Nucca chiro. But only do engough nucca to re-align c1 c2 and stabalize [6 weeks]. Then maybe a visit once a quarter. At fort myers i just get injections and curve correction review. Getting curve back is what is really helping with reducing symptoms of headache, eye pressure, tingling mouth. And the neck injections don't give me bad side effect symptoms as bad anymore.

Thank you for this video. I am 27 years old and have been suffering exponentially from untreated congenital muscular torticollis. I have been receiving botox injections for over a year due to a misdiagnosis of cervical dystonia. All of the symptoms from this condition are making life so difficult for me, I can barely take care of myself and son. my doctors are now recommending bilateral surgery on my short sternocleidomastoid. I definitely feel worse after my last Botox shot and after seeing this, it all makes a lot more sense and I’ll probably stop getting them.

Considering the amount of whiplash from accidents and football tackling I'm surprized there's not more doctor's interested in this. I went 40 times to appointments with blazing headaches and eye pressure, csf leak. No report on C1 C2... where the problem is. Completely ignored it. People laughed at me when I told them I drank salty water before my Mri but I fast walked around the building to get my leak going so(I) could see my csf leak myself (on my copy of the mri). It sure worked. I have some of the best brain and spine images . I was t-boned by a fuel truck and had to be extracted. It's not funny that doctors never find anything wrong. I could do a blood patch to seal the nasal leak but the pressure would just find another way out. I wouldn't do a spinal tap because I'm not a tire and I don't need my pressure checked and extra holes in my spine. Ive been going thru this for 25 years and have been managing it myself. I have reverse lordosis, herniated c 4/5, C7 joint hypertrophy. My blood thinner is garlic ..of coarse. I take no meds. I would def go to Caring Medical. Ive never had a nerve block injection and turned down the c4/c5 fusion because I know I have lost injury of Atlanto .

Hi JP- Thanks for sharing. When cervical instability is the cause, then the treatment course would involve Prolotherapy to strengthen the ligament tissue that is allowing the excessive vertebral motion. Muscle strength/exercise is separate from ligaments (Exercise is for muscle tissue and Prolotherapy is for ligament tissue). Muscles would not make an unstable joint stable again if the undying problem is ligamentous, although exercise can be part of the overall "neck program" when someone needs curve correction. In our practice, those specific exercises are prescribed to patients depending on what was seen on their Digital motion x-ray and other scans as well as physical exam. Hope that helps explain the direction of the video a little more. Wish you all the best in health!

Ooh, do you have the brand and model of the chair on hand by chance? Even if it’s out of my price range it can give me a baseline to work from finding one of my own. Otherwise I don’t know where to start. But between bypermobile joints and practically nonexistent proprioception, and being autistic and NEEDING to move to self regulate, I spent most of my elementary school years falling out of chairs and fighting till my desk was across the room. All “correct” posture stuff doesn’t seem to help. I just can’t comfortably sit in a regular chair. My legs always wanna be involved. I perch like a gargoyle a lot but it’s a little too high energy to do all the time so a kneeling chair where my legs get to be engaged looks perfect. I mean maybe it’ll work for me maybe it won’t. But if you have a lower budget one you’d recommend to someone on a fixed income who wants to try these that’s not so cheaply made it’s not really comparable to a middle of the road one, that’s be welcome too. Of course I’ll be hunting on my own since my desk chair is on its last legs, so to speak. I have no doubt my c2 is a disaster area but a problem I’ve struggled with so much the more I age is furniture being built to lounge or relax on being the most uncomfortable stuff ever. And especially the past few years it feels like half the time my upper body and lower body are trying to go their separate ways. So I’ve been trying lots of different sitting, kneeling, squatting, etc positions to see what feels right and finally makes me stop feeling off balance and a kneeling chair like that looks like it matches up with the kind of stuff I’ve been intuitively trying to do for ages with furniture not built for it. My SI joints a mess too and I’m really eager to retrain my legs hips and core to work together with stuff like this.

I started using sacral blocks I ordered off of Amazon (they look like large door stops) and my UC Dr showed me how to use them for lower back and Sacro Iliac (SI) pain (SI is knife in buttocks pain)...mostly caused by a twisted pelvis...one hip is forward and the other one is backward, a chiropractor can tell you which is forward and which is backward. You place one sacral block under the top hip of the hip that's twisted backward and you place the other block under the opposite side buttock (this is the forward hip). Hope this helps. I've noticed that my upper cervical instability is a bit better from keeping my pelvis untwisted. I use the blocks before going to bed every nite.

@@CaringmedicalProlotherapy I have recently gotten an x-ray done, but I don't trust anyone except you guys. Would it be possible for me to send my neck x-rays over. I was told that it's a normal x-ray, however I can see some abnormalities.

@@zakyvids6566 They have 3 D Cone Beam CT available now...developed for dentists but they can see the upper cervical region wonderfully and is now being used by Upper Cervical Doctors and it is cheaper than DMX and MRI...an Upper Cervical Dr here in St Louis where I live has a machine, he only charges $350, (here it costs between $100 to $600 according to how many areas they image). This might be an alternative to a Digital Motion Xray (DMX) to get some kind of imaging to look inside if DMX is simply not available. Hope this helps and God Bless You! I know that the DMX shows the patient in movement...it takes thousands of single pictures like digital photographs while the patient is moving and bending and chains them together to make a video movie so that the Dr. can see how the ligaments and bones and joint are functioning.

We cannot diagnosis without first doing exams and consult. We do have patients who travel from all over the globe but we understand that travel is not feasible for all. We can however recommend that you start with a google search and see if there is a provider near you who specializes in cervical instability that can get you in for an exam and consult.

Which ligament fails to allow c2 malrotation?

  • @juleegino2158

I know that the Alar Ligaments attach at the C2 and they go up like a V and the Transverse Ligament that is holding the dens deep inside but Dr Hauser would know lots more. I hope that he answers back and would let us know if he can treat this with Prolotherapy and if this can be a separate issue from CCJ or AAI instability and/or how C2 malrotation affects it. MANY THANKS DR HAUSER!
