I can't thank you enough for this information. I have suffered migraines for 10 years, progressively getting worse, to the point they were every single day for the past 2-3 years. I'd seen a neurologist for 7 years, had nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, botox, tried every migraine preventative medication, including the injections and nothing worked, except for taking migraine medication as soon as the pain started. My health was deteriorating and I was also suffering from chronic fatigue. It was just by chance that I went to a chiropractor when on holidays, who adjusted the Atlas (I'd seen chiropractors for years, but none of them did this adjustment). For the first time in years, I went migraine free for 2 weeks. I found your youtube channel and have been following the exercises and I'm now nearly migraine free (except for every month with my cycle). My energy is returning and I feel like I have a new lease on life. If only neurologists would educate themselves about Atlas misalignment. Thank you again.

Hi Dr. at L & B. This is great video. I've been to neurologists, spinal and neuro surgeons for opinions (6), pain management drs., Rheumatologists, even Urologist and my PCP (internest). I have been to at least 6 Chiros and 1 Acupuncturist (who was also a MD ), and of course numerous PTs. No one has described the Upper Cervical Instabilities like this. In succinct summary: I'm 70, retired, male. Suffering with back & neck pain and stiffness for decades over 30 years). In 1966, playing HS football, I fractured the right femur. After the baody cast came off in 3 months, my right leg was 1 inch short. That was left Unaddressed by the Dr. and my parents didn't think to ask. After 15 years or so, the back problems started with lower back stiffness. That has traversed to the Bridge of my Nose!!. As a result, of this Leg Length Discrepancy (LLD is a Condition in the medical annals), I have Dextroscoliosis of 25 degrees, Spondyliosis (spinal arthritis) throughout my entire spine with Facet arthriitis in many vertebrea, DDD, some dsic bulges and stenosis at various sites in the spine. One big factor that I was not aware of is when my first Cervical MRI, taken in 2012 by my Ortho / Pain management dr. revealed in the radiologist report was that I had a More Narrow Than Normal spinal canal !!. Over the many years, i have developed many helath issues : Tinnitus, ear Pain, TMJ, Temporal headaches, chronic sinusitis, IBS/ GERD, breathing difficulties (Diaphragm /stomach), even bouts of bladder and bowel incontinence. As You statre here , many people have no Clue about Cervical Instabilities and the affect tom your well being!!. The affects to the VAGUS nerve is crucial aspect to all of this. The Vagus Nerve is the largest of the Cranial nerves, coming form the Brain stem and extending thru the Atlas, & Axis vertebrea and traveling to all the vital organs: heart, Lungs, Stomach, Kidneys, Liver, and more. No one has described this , other than Dr. Hauser at Caring Medical (UT channel), about Cervical Instabilities. i am following this channel and will try to do the exercises diligantly. I did see a Upper Cervical Chiropracor a few years ago - about 20 sessions. That treatment did Nothing. They very subtle pushes on the Atlas joint while I laid on both the sides - lasted about 10 minutes. I've been to a Decompression Chiro who used the DS 3000 decompression machine for 20 sessions or so. One session which focused on the neck only, left me with intense tinnitus in the left ear for 2 weeks!!. Something moved that should not have moved. My Pain Management / Physiatrist dr. warned against any neck adjustments - no Inversion table either. So, I'm left for seaching my Own Answers and treatments to esae my daily misery. Thank you for this series of videos.

It’s tissue not holding your vertebrae’s in place guys so what you can do is two things one.. regenerative medicine and then cervical pt and maybe atlas orthogonal.. or get spinal fusion last resort.. What’s going on is that the vertebrae’s are slipping on each other and if it’s high up there is CCI or AAI instability which can cause many issues..

@@IAMFREE-sh5wo THX for responding and Inquiring. I get some relief by these exercises. L & B is a terrific PT site!! Fully descriptive. My issues are Vast and affect my entire spine. I will say that these moves / Stretches do Help. Since 2018 -19 I've been to 6 different Spinal ? Neuro Surgeons for surgical opinions. Some doctors are prominent in their fields (Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC, Columbia Pres in NYC - as 2 of them). All said that I have Too Much Arthritis on the Vertebrae and Facet Joints. No Surgery on my Lumbar spine, Maybe I am a Candidate for Cervical ACDF surgery if it became unbearable. I had recent MRIs (Cervical Thoracic and Lumbar) in February. All showed encroaching Issues with lots of degenerative Discs. This Channel's PT Doctor is describing the Cervical Issues is Soooo Spot On. I've been to 6 different Chiropractors, Acupuncture sessions (over 40) with little help. But this doctor is marvelous. Chc eck out their web site too. They do not charge a penny for downloading various exercises. I deal with my many issues everyday. Some days better than others. As I noted in my commentary - also Check Out Caring Medical Channel, Dr. Hauser explains the effects from a Cervical Spine issues including the Atlas and Axis (C1 & C2) Vertebrae.

Hi doc, I have one question. I have been suffering from neck problems for more than 10 months, main symptom and I would say the only symptom I have got is dizziness (imbalance, floating), I have been diagnosed with neck instability and vertebral artery syndrome, however, the vertebral artery is not very compressed and blood flow is normal, however, I still have this imbalance and floating senses, which is really annoying and sometimes it provides other annoying symptoms, like lose of concentration and so on. it is not just annoying it is more suffering. I tried different medications which helped for some time but after I increased my physical activity dizziness and imbalance also increased a little by little. I do neck stabilization and overall core stabilization exercises, however, it does not fully help. Sitting is the hardest part, especially, on a chair that does not have back support and so and so. what should I do? Am I doing something wrong or it is just a matter of time and I should continue doing exercises?

This is a great video and I am watching it a few times. I just wanted to ask, my issue started from a mistake I made simply sleeping in a very bad position. 10 months or so now, I get a click when I rotate my head to the left, roughly 30-45 deg, I also don't have the same range of motion the rest of that left rotation without a bit of feeling something is out of place. I do not have any pain (thank God) but I do get facial tingling if I use that side a lot as well as my left SCM muscle will become tight/ slightly swollen while this happens, however it's normally fine and will go back down fairly fast, this tends to be the cause of the nerve face tingling. Could this be caused by the Atlas? Thanks so much for all you do!

As the weeks and months went by the pain in my neck started getting worse to the point I had to go to the hospital in late March 2024. The MRI and CT scans are not showings any isssues serious enough to any of my doctors yet I continue to have neck pain, but what is worse is I've developed a sleep disorder with continous hypnic jerking and continuous dizziness that has forced me to apply for disability from my place of employment. I'm in really bad shape and in need of help. I think there might be an issue with my atlas bone alignment and currently trying to perform the atlas bone exercises you show in your videos. Oh yes that's TRUE. My first Chiro that Iseeked help with was a Network Chiropractor. Althiough, it never happened with me, But I did witness to see a patient in the office actually move her body like a Whale...... Check out Network Chiropractic method. The Chiro would have you lay on your stomach, and would push on the lower back just above the buttocks and he would say that here is the C3, C4, C5, etc nerve endings. I could feel it in my neck as he pushed (very gently) on certain spots on the back. But these videos are more intuitive / descriptive about the Atlas & Axis vertebreas. Another factoid I learned forma Rheumatologist (one of many drs I have consulted), told me that I SI joint inflammation (and OA in my hips). She said that the SI joints are Ground Zero for all back problems. So i have surmized that if you have Lower back / hip misalignment problems , and Cervical Instabilities, the nerve pathways are out of control. My Central and peripheral nervous systems are affected by my conditions which i posted on this VLOG. FYI, I'm no doctor, BUT Ifeel like one after doing at least 5 years or more of my own research on this "stuff".

Hi, Bonnie! 🙂 Thanks for your question! Hi Paul! 🙂 Thanks for your question! Doing chin tucks alone won't help correct your atlas vertebrae, but they can be useful if you add them to our atlas correction exercises. 👉 lie-br.com/yt-cm3-atlas If you do them regularly , you can release any built-up tension in your neck muscles that have shortened and become tense, thus pulling on the atlas and causing it to slip a little. So, if you want to correct your atlas, get started with our exercises and help yourself naturally. 💪🙂 Best wishes, Hannah from Liebscher & Bracht

Hi Paul! 🙂 Thanks for your comment! A misaligned atlas can definitely result from a bad posture. If you sit with a hunchedback for a very long time, your muscles and fasciae shorten and tense up, thus causing pain and other unpleasant symptoms. 😞 Please learn more about the cause, symptoms, and best treatment options in this informative article on atlas vertebra problems. 👉🙂 lie-br.com/yt-cm3-atlascorrection Best wishes! Hi Clarke, we are aware that there are hardly any studies so far. But this will change soon since we plan to conduct two studies this year, if Covid-19 allows us to do it. 🙌 We've already conducted a first clinical study with AUVA Salzburg, its positive results can be found here (apologies, they're only available in German!) 😊👉 www.liebscher-bracht.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/liebscher-bracht-kniestudie.pdf In our opinon, the huge amount of positive comments and feedback on our social media channels from people who relieved their pain with our exercises and therapy, are also evidence that our treatment approach is very effective and successful! 💪🙂 And to make one thing clear: nobody is ripping people off here! We offer our content for free, because our vision is to accompany as many people as possible into a pain-free and healthy life. Everybody can decide if they want to go this way and help themselves against their pain! 😊🙏 Best wishes, Hannah from Liebscher & Bracht
