Installing Boyd rear mounted fuel tank as well as Ls tubular engine brackets on the C10 frame.

Now would you attach a bonding strap to the frame so it’s electrically grounded? Most sending units work off ground. The mounting bolts probably provide some electrical connection even with the mounting insulation rubber, but it just seems that a good ground would prevent problems down the road. One could probably tap the negative wire for the electric fuel pump I suppose as everything ultimately grounds to the negative battery terminal. I guess another consideration would be to electrically isolate the the Al tank completely, even at all the connections to prevent current from flowing across dissimilar metals that causes the corrosion. Just some thoughts…

Have you set the bed on the frame? Did you need to clearance the support to clear the filler neck?

How big are the hubs on that brake kit? Looking for a conversion kit that’ll fit the wheels I have already….

I actually hand painted the frame. After doing it I wish I would have powder coated.

They are around 400 for non efi. And 700 for efi. I got the non efi and will be converting it to efi myself. We will find out if that was the right decision haha

Haven’t got that far yet haha. Plan on doing it in the bed tho. Close to the driver side.
