C&S' Mill Gulch Bridge and Glenisle Way Station
A small tour of the Denver, South Park & Pacific Railroad (later Colorado & Southern Railway) structures on display in Helen McGraw-Tatum Memorial Park in Bailey, Colorado in Platte Canyon. The park sits on the former South Park Line right-of-way and includes a railway bridge (moved from its original site), the former way station from a little west of Bailey, and a standard gauge wooden caboose.

Thanks for another interesting podcast! I stopped for gas and lunch in Bailey in October, 2021, but did not know about this!

It's sort of tucked away. I don't think I would have seen it without knowing it was there since it's behind a bunch of other buildings.
Another amazing video retracing the DSP&P! Thank you!

Glad you liked it!
I had no idea this park existed. I drive through Bailey probably 20 times or more each year and just have a blind eye 😞. Thanks for opening them to this. looks like I will be stopping by this weekend.

I can't see how anyone would happen upon it because it's weirdly tucked behind some stores. It's too bad there's not more signage or something because it's such a treasure, but unless you know it's there you wouldn't see it. Enjoy your visit!
Thank you for sharing, here in Germany we are happy about those sources of information about the C&S and D,SP&PRR. Andreas

Yeah, I agree. It's much better that it's in Platte Canyon adjacent to the old C&S roadbed.
