Granted. But really...so what? They've had great defenses before. And they struggled on offense. This is the ONLY time the OFFENSE is actually leading the way, and the DEFENSE is holding down the fort. That's the way it should have always been. But Ravens offenses were often asked to play defense by G R I N D I N G it out to keep x,y,z QB who was better than the Ravens QB, but somehow the vaunted Ravens D needed the offense to help it out...on the bench. The whole damn thing was insane. And if folks don't appreciate Lamar and what he's brought to this franchise -- LIFE TO THE OFFENSE!!! -- then you don't know jack about football in baltimore.

Interesting about Clowney. Until this game it seemed to me that his greatest contributions this year have been in getting after the QB. But in this game he was really getting after EVERYBODY! He made some R Smith type one on one open field tackles. And he's gangly man. I would NOT want him plowing into me with a full head of steam. Impressive!!

@@samk4801 Definitely grown as a player as far as versatility goes. You can tell that speed hasn't gone anywhere, and he's still got good lateral movement like he did in college.

@@falcon1378 I don't know how he fits into the Ravens future plans. Same with Van Noy. But they hit gold with those two and I hope they've found their forever homes in Bmore. Get it done EDC.

@@samk4801 I hope they can pull it off. Having defensive Aces all around the field will be hard to keep every season. Luckily it'll be a lot easier with the great picks they made on offense, like Keaton and Likely. The offense won't cost that much anymore, a lot of room to resign defensive talent. Either way, this team is Ring or Bust. There's also a big chance they let go of Bateman and another defensive stud, but the draft process has been legit these past couple of years. I don't like the idea of replacing guys but that could most likely be the case unless someone restructures.

Last dominant defense I can recall was the broncos and panthers D in 2015, both were solid defenses but 2013 Seahawks were solid as well. This defense is shutting down offenses and Sunday will be no different, even against the mahomes

Stroud was impressive. It was cool to see Lamar go talk with him after the game. You could tell it was important for him to find CJ. He was pushing people out of the way. Then when he found him it wasn't just like a bro hug then gone. He really talked to him and I'm sure encouraged him and it was an amazing moment. Really classy on both sides.

I love the way this defense plays. As a former college DE, it is so fun to watch. They play for each other. It doesn't matter who gets the sack, INT, fumble recovery or forced fumble, or tackle. They are so happy for each other. When one of them eats, they all eat. Stroud looked uncomfortable out there. I don't blame him. This defense is scary. 😈😤
