Stroud carried himself impressively and did a good job of not making mistakes. He just really didn't have a chance on the road in freezing temperatures against the best defense in the league with no run game and only one good wide receiver. He's gonna come back stronger from this.

Hat's off to their dominating defense and Lamar on offense. Texans have 3rd most cap space for possible resigns and FA's and they will add a few vet defenders I bet. I can see them taking a skill player on offense early in the draft too. Enjoy your vids Jackson.

3tds and 270+ passing yards and 24 pts against a top browns defense in ONE HALF in a playoff game. 260+ yds and 2 tds against a stout colts defense in a win and in game in week 18. 350+ yds and 3 tds against a red hot bengals team coming off a 4 game win streak in cincinnati. I’m struggling to see the “struggle” against good defenses. His only struggle was against the jets right after losing tank dell and in the rain. Stroud was out his 2nd and 3rd best receivers this game with 36 yds rushing. Where here do you see strouds struggle and where do you see an expectancy for a regression in year two. The texans can only improve… Better run game, return of tank dell, nico collins, and the possible addition of a new wr are all very likely and will only make this offense 10x better. You have no idea what you are talking about and your ignorance with the generalization of comments is comical.

Ravens played a very safe style offense and Lamar did not have to throw a pass over 20 yards in the air. nope, the issue was much more the depth of our WR room. all they needed to do was shut down Nico Collins and no other WR can get a blade of grass of separation. rain was an issue in the Jets game, but once again the bigger issue was near zero separation for the WRs. it's not like Stroud was missing throw after throw, and he was buying time all game, but no one could get open. We need to sign a third premier WR in free agency because Dell and Collins are all we have and those guys will likely always deal with injury problems. we really need at least two good WRs on the field to have a good chance against a defense like that.
