If you have been on a monohull, and a Bi-hull, you know they both have advantages, and both have disadvantages. The bi is far more stable, in most seas but if it gets very rough, the bi will actually flip sooner so the advantage mono in very rough conditions. But anything up to very bad, and the bihull gets the nod. You won't find a design that turns like it, weird feeling really as it does not "hell over" very smooth and it eats up chop, stable, stable fishing platform. Very appealing design IMO.

SHE SURE MOVES AROUND ALOT. Like to see a Dory 25 near her for comparison.

It was deceptively rough, residual from a storm the night before. The tomcat is much more stable than the normal 25 c-dory hull (which is quite stable also). The one comment everyone has when they get on the boat is how little it rolls. But I agree it looks like a lot of rocking and rolling in this video, maybe also due to taking the waves directly on the beam for pulling the pot.

@@danielcichowski7902 Thank you Daniel for your reply. Have spend. couple days on a 22 C-Dory here in the San Juans and it's a nice boat but just to small for us. She sure moved around a lot. We stopped to watch some eagles and you have to hang on if people are moving about. Or if two are sitting in the dinette the boat lists to port. Stand up head. must for the wife. I've been on the 26 Venture and liked it as well but not on a 25. We are sea trailing a used Apsen 90 next week also. Probably should do that if we are looking at C-Dory's:-)
