Although I not really a speedrunner myself, i really learned a lot from seeing you guys speedrunning, especially when comes to difficult campaigns. Like, the Croatia Mission for example, i didn't know that we could actually sell the wall for some extra cash. :)

Hey, I'm really glad that people are getting things out of the videos! It makes posting them all that more rewarding. :) And yeah, those walls are actually worth quite a lot! They probably bought a couple more tanks to send to the Nod base - makes all the difference. :)

Just wanted to add to others saying this video is incredibly helpful. While I can't speedrun myself, seeing you do it really helps me understand the level better, and makes it far less frustrating. So thanks for uploading!

The ending sequence from space is by far the best cutscene in the whole game. Even after years of playing this one never gets boring ^^ To the game, nice run ^^

Fun fact : did this very mission for the first time yesterday ! On medium... Took me a big chunk of the afternoon, on a "not a single loss" kind of challenge 😑 Until I got bored by the stealth bombers executions, and went full juggernaut. And of course everybody dies at the end, so long for the casualty rate 😒

Good work. I used to hate losing units, but it's so time consuming... Good that you have the patience - not like myself any more! And yeah I feel you. The Stealth Bombers in this mission are really hard to kill. The blast radius from their bombs is huge too. Best to have Stealth detection outside of your base, I find!

Honestly when this came out on the 360, i beat it ( i beat it all mission on easy) now since i have a good computer, i wanted to test myself and beat them all of them on medium then hard on pc. Thanks to your video, it helps me how to beat the missions. I really appreciate it.

This game's speedrun tactic is like playing RA3 high tier multiplayer game, get the MCV to an expansion spot ASAP while building an army and rushing it straight ahead front agaisnt the enemy... Basically saying if you watch lots of Sybert's RA3 or KW skirmish videos, mastered that, you can speedrun this game, just need to know the specific triggers, example: capturing the mutant hovel in this mission is only active when it's visible and not covered in fog of war for the first time

I'm actually playing RA3 as of today. There's definitely a different feel to the game, but it's very familiar. Hopefully I'm doing the same thing in reverse!

Nice. How do you get the campaign to run properly? are you using a mod? are you on steam or using the original discs?

Steam. I actually tried an install using the discs but Windows didn't recognise it as a program. You can also download Command Post from cgf-uploads if you want to play online, chat to other people, or download mods and maps.

@@heeroyuy4561 Yeah... EA balanced the game with updates as the online gameplay was crazy, but it caused problems with the campaigns. You won't be able to download anything but 1.09 (final patch) from Steam. There are also issues with Intel dropping - 2 /3 files are bugged. If you want to check out cgf-uploads.net/home and download Command Post or join the Discord you can ask the community for any information you need. There are patch updates and revisions to the current patches that might help, but I'm not allowed to use them for my runs, so I don't have them atm! Hope that helps :)
