In my case the AI start training hammerhead, then spamming infantry and APC, killing all my shadows and engineers 😢 So I need to destroy all production facilities first

Well the reinforcements needed reinforcements so we sent reinforcements to the reinforcements so they could reinforce us.

That command just did the clutch of the century, instantly wiped out the alien forces alone

Very well thought out and executed. It had occured to me to simply capture the enemy base, but I did not know you can sell the base walls. I thought walls were immune from selling. Just shows that Nod units are superior in urban combat. That black hand unit you sent to the city was to counter the reinforcements from off map was very clever. It is such bullshit design to have rocket militants spawn everywhere and occupy the buildings. It's doubly damning when you don't have access to grenadiers, an otherwise shit unit but that would have been really useful in this case. I won't be playing this mission ever again though, that is for sure.
Hey, thanks! Yeah the urban combat is a pain, Nod really excel with their infantry - with it being so cheap to field them too. I really need to update the speedrun though, as I've picked up a few tricks since then... Watch this space! A better run is coming!

Yeah, it's like they've been upgraded to fast legs, but obviously that's KW only. If you were actually to capture the Temple of Nod you'd definitely need it though. Can't imagine what a nightmare that would be!

Mine drop to the North. It's a really powerful support power and a favourite of mine! The enemy faction makes a lot of bike buggy there if I recall, which pose a threat to the Flame Tank.

Why did you capture MCV first and then built a Hand of Nod to build another saboteur to capture secondary objective? Why not immediately go for secondary objective cap?
If I recall that area has a lot of starting infantry as well as being hotly contested by GDI's armour. The reason for the capture is that the Saboteur was killed on several attempts before he reached the objective. The MCV provides the option of the build radius and the Engineer on sale, so it's a strong option for capture over risking the objective and failing.

It was a 14 minutes speedrun. Comparing to other campaings less than 3 minutes, the battle was really tough to win for every soldier on the battlefield surrounded by tiberium.

It does attack it, but it doesn't have the AP ammo upgrade so it only takes about 70-80% of the transport's health.

I have thought about the Any% as it's a bit easier, but I need to figure out how to get the Commando for Berne (it's dropped in from the outset).

No, but the Engineers have the same "fast legs" from Kane's Wrath, so move a lot faster. The Commando is standard as far as I know.
How did those engineers bypass those turrets? If I try that they just get killed.
The Turrets were attacking the Flame Tanks until they died and the Sonics missed most of their shots. It's important to remember that the enemy will focus on what it sees first, which were the Flame Tanks. The Sonics and Mammoths missed the Commando to boot! 😁👌
@s1nnur_ I know this is unrelated but can you do a build order tutorial for KW? Especially how to counter rushers whilst eco-ing up? Somehow, my brother has a huge army (like a brutal steamroller) in the first 5 mins and no clue how to counter that besides turtling.
@@livingweaponnightmare I've considered a video like that but I don't really want my voice on the channel for privacy reasons, so there's two options for it: 1) A short with text or; 2) Hire someone to do it Unfortunately I don't have the money for 2 atm, so I may try 1. The basic advice is build a ref, warf, ref and get to 5 harvesters first. Then move your MCV to the next field if needed. If not go tier 2 and start pumping out units. Scout the map the whole time. If you get rushed, build a barracks and then the second defense turrets available to you. If you can show me what he's doing I can give you more specific advice.

Questions: How come the GDI base was not as heavily defended? Normally I recall GDI being extremely aggressive with rushes and large steamroller type attacks, which normally forces me to have to turtle. How come the AI did not do that here?
It's the timing. They send out an army towards the Scrin from the Northern base just before my Flame Tanks arrive. They'll then start making more, but it's RNG what they make. You just need to get lucky and hope it's APc's. Then you just need to deal with the bottom base, which means base defenses until you have tougher units. Notice how I used the Mine Drop to kill most of them at first. It's a really hard hitting mission but the right units in the right place, with the right RNG and you'll crack it.
No mission caused as much shouting, expletives and rage as this one for me....then I see this.

This would be nigh impossible for me. I remember d!cking around every mission, saving and reloading, until I could complete them without losing any units. Even scripted deaths, like, where the Nod Commando chick is supposed to shoot a whiny engineer, but you can actually stop her if you select her quick enough and move her farther away. If I remember correctly.
Oh yeah, you don't want to throw units away! I never used to like losing them but you learn to get over it when you play online, or start speedrunning - you don't really have a choice then!

Don't forget the crates as well! You can build harvesters from the outset then and have a really tasty income. ;)

@@s1nnur_ thank you mate, but i already beat the level. i watched your video in 0.5 speed and than did it. it worked very well. you know. i loved the first 4 titles as a kid and then never played RTS games again. a few days ago i thought i want to try one again and randomly downloaded tiberium wars, because tiberium sun was always my favourite back in the day. and man, i fell in love with the genre again^^. when i am done i want to play the age of empires 2 remaster and then generals. thanks again for the help ! :)
Oh nice! Yeah I played AoE2 and Tiberiun Sun as a kid, I have both installed but still need to play them. I might do that tonight, such great games!

Why is it that when I do this the gdi base is FILLED with railgun equipped mammoths? When you do it the base is completely empty
I had the same issue too and there was loads of gdi base defenses too. I did it the same timing as him as well he must be using a different version of the game.

@@benwood7475 yeah my way is to expand fast now and just build a fast army to take out the gdi. His way works on a modified version of the game.
@@jamesandmikey32 I was about the same but I used the juggernauts with damn near infinite range to destroy gdi production. You don’t even have to move them from where you captured them. Just defend them and supply engineers to pick them back up.
So yeah, the timing is key as you're hitting the base just after a patrol leaves, which then means they'll start producing more vehicles from the two War Factories... Then there is the issue of RNG on what they produce from the WF's as well. They'll produce two of the same unit, which can be a Mammoth Tank, Jugg or just APC's. If they manage to produce Mammy's or Juggs then it's a reset. I'm using the latest version of the game, patched on Steam. It's also worth pointing out that new SAVE FILES were used. I think if you use an older one then it works on the older settings.
Was playing this on EASY and couldn't get the good ending cause they kept sending waves of 10+ carriers, which I couldn't counter no matter what I did. Had to use the catalyst missile...
Yeah the PACs are a pain - they seem to spawn endlessly from the Node. I think you can avoid them by staying away from the Blue Tiberium valley to the West?
