C-47 Engine Test

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Kermit Weeks and crew prepare the C-47 Dakota for its trip from the EAA facility in Oshkosh, WI to its new home at Fantasy of Flight in Polk City, FL. Here, they are testing the engines prior to it's first flight in seven months. Kermit Weeks says:
"Ran the engines and everything went fine. It took a bit to get them running due to empty fuel lines but I kept them going with the primers until they settled in.
Once they warmed up, I went through the run-up checklist and everything went great. The only small issue we had was that the generators didn't come on line until after we reset them."

Ex Royal Danish Air Force also think it could have been one of three C-47 that R.D.A.F provided for the flim A Bridge Too Far.
