"I hate micromanaging front lines" This is why Taureor is the supreme Strategist on HOI4. He doesn't beat his enemies with cunning encirclement or devious reposition maneuvers, on a tactical level. Instead he defeats them through superior planning and logistics, with every action planned out in his head an hour before it happens on the map. The trick is to put Taureor in charge of a bunch of micro happy tacticians who can win any battle with even inferior resources but who cannot logistic to save their lives, and have him happily handle all the planning aspects while they excel at their complicated battlefield maneuvering. At that point, he becomes truly unstoppable.

@@Fun4luve no, I was playing as France earlier and was trying to order 66 the UK. It wouldn’t let me declare war because it said in big, red letters “troops in territory of target” or some crap like that.

So many times people think don't know the Greek word for something, yet they do. Micro for small, Mega for big. Even later on Taureor said MICROmanagement XD

Taureor, real quick story man. So it's 3:10 in the morning, my girlfriend is asleep, and I have just warmed up some food. I just got back from driving from my parent's house where I was for a couple of days. I forgot that I never turned my sound off and/or down before I left the other day. Now, normally your voice is soothing as fuck, but it was at 98% volume and I never thought your voice would be the most terrifying sound I've ever heard in my life. Anyway, great job and keep up the videos!

Well, he managed to conquer big part of the world as coutries like Iceland, Mongolia, Bhutan, Tannu Tuva or Cuba, so taking Turkey as Greece is a piece of cake for him.

Romania was actually more usefull for the germans fighting the soviets than any other ally they had including Italy and Japan ;)

Chalenge idea: as a nation capable to unify gran Colombia, unify it, conquer all islands in the caribean and have the largest amount of capital ships (your individual navy needs to be the largest, puppets don't add to the navy size).

Something I learned the hard way, ALWAYS ANNEX BULGARIA, there is a bus focus which allows them to break free and bulgaria will take your land if you join the axis. (So you either are forced to join the axis and lose land as greece or you don't and bulgaria leaves and Germany demands you give up land). This comes from personal experience.

You can actually flip back to Democratic after you establish the Byzantine Empire if you manage to keep your Democratic popularity above 60%. It will then be called East Roman Democratic Republic.

Taureor can you ever host a multiplayer game with your fans? I love your videos and it would be fun to see how you play when it is not edited.

I've got two challenge ideas. As Finland, control all finno-ugric/uralic language areas (basically Finland, Karelia, Estonia, Hungary and some parts of european russia (before the urals)). Or... As Sweden, Norway or Denmark, control all areas where vikings had settlements . That means those three countries, eastern UK, parts of Ireland, Iceland, Greenland, Normandy (if you want to go with viking descendants as well, that means UK as William the Conqueror was a Norman), european russia after the Rus. But then, if you want to go where vikings had actual influence or raided... that adds paris, Rome, Constantinople, Vinland (north-east coast of the US / parts of Canada).

Romania is tough because you're fighting through rivers, hills and mountains on a relatively narrow front, with pure infantry divisions. When there are 3 or 4+ infantry divisions defending those kinds of tiles you need something more to punch through. Especially when they're probably entrenched. If artillery isn't an option, you can use Cavalry to exploit breakthroughs, like the early one you had in those plains tiles, cavalry isn't foolproof, and the AI is quick to strat redeploy these days, but it should give you allow you to keep up the momentum and force the AI to constantly extend and redeploy.

Small in GReek is μικρό which is the origin of the English word micro ( English words is quit often to originate by Greek ones)

World of Tanks Blitz plays remarkably well on mobile devices too, but these are both FTP games which are a problem for some people. Good games made for mobile without microtransactions? I don't know of any.

@@saymonek0 Scotland, Ireland, Most, but not all of Germany, Poland, scandinavia and of course the obvious Australia, Asia and America. Also, Rome only held the northern coastline of Africa, with the exception of Egypt. The challenge of it is that you have to fight both the Allies and Axis in order to get all the territory, which should take some planning in order to pull off when starting as Greece

In 1.8 it was super easy to restore the Byzantine Empire, but I think it's more difficult since 1.9 because you can't annex stuff to become stronger.
