yea thats right! byu whooped some serious butt yesterday! but the utes played and AWESOME game. i will give them that.

Travis Jervey? He went to the Citadel (many people probably couldn't locate that school on a map). Staley? As good as BYU was here, it's still BYU, a non-BCS-conference team in Utah that the East Coast-driven media doesn't really focus on. Tre Smith? Went into a no-win situation in Auburn with Caddy, Brown and Irons. Brian Leonard should be fortunate that Rutgers took everyone by storm in the past two years, and look at him now. He's about to make his first start in the NFL at halfback.

I played flag football with Reno a couple years ago. The dude is HUGE.

And back to Jervey: I saw him play in 1998 in the regular season when Levens went down with a leg injury and Raymont Harris was fumbling every three seconds. He had one good game, where he went for 95 yards and a TD, but that was it. Nothing special, until he broke his ankle and was out for the season.

i feel so bad for luke staley. he would have done so good in the pros if he hadn't of broken his foot.

If McGuffie goes to Michigan and impresses against many of the tough Big Ten defenses, I'm sure there'll be a LOT of people clamoring over him in the NFL. You wanna know the problem with a lot of white runningbacks nowadays? The lack of mainstream exposure.

Now could racism have something to do with it? Possibly. But a lot of times, you can't really expect white running backs and the like to break through in the next level if they're not in the big-time situations.
