It’s been pretty fun! Lots of pros and cons but sadly it’s my last semester :(
Brandon. How many of y’all share a place? You made me laugh when you toured the kitchen. Frig and another frig. That is what our firehouses here in Shreveport LA look like. Refrigerator A for A shift. Refrigerator B for B shift. Good video! Just like living back in the states only in paradise!

Honestly I don’t know how many of us there are I wanna say 6 but I feel like I meet more people everyday haha
I'm in love with everything about this video!! I've been thinking of applying here for a while; I know this shows only a little bit of what goes on as a student at BYUH, but I am wanting to pursue videography as well and still attend a small school like this. Is there anything else to know about going to school here that you wish you would have known earlier?

Honestly I went in with no expectations so really I didn’t know a whole lot before going. I wish I knew about activities more because that’s where I was able to meet a lot of people. Also getting a job can be difficult and the school takes forever to communicate so you’ll have to get used to island time because no one is ever in a rush haha

Honestly I don’t even know what it was that got me accepted but I would just show that you want to be apart of the community. Hawaiian communities put a big emphasis on family so anything you can do to show you value community, unity and family will help in my opinion. Good luck and hope you get in!!

What are the pros and cons for BYU-H? I’m trying to decide where to go to school.

I plan on making a video in the future about this. But at the base it’s a small school and classes are small so you can have better connections with your professors and plus it’s in a pretty cool state:) Downsides depend on what you’re looking for. If you want a big school this isn’t it. Transportation and activities can be limited sometimes depending on situations. I’ll have more in a future video hopefully!
Hi! I’m currently enrolled at byuh and I have a couple of questions: 1). Why is everyone barefoot in public? 😂 2). Is your apartment a hale? 3). Does the caf really give you stomach ulcers? 4). Are the majority of students friendly? Thanks! :)

Haha I love this: 1. It’s a lifestyle! You should try it ;) 2. My apartment is Off-campus housing. You’ll be in a hale if it’s your first semester 3. I never eat at the caf so I have no idea. I’d recommend the bagels though! 4. Almost all are friendly! You see everyone all the time because it’s such a small school so you’re bound to make friends. Some groups are cliquey but otherwise people are nice.
How far are the surfing beaches from campus?

Yeah it just depends on the day. Generally anything along the north shore does pretty well October - April
