@@carsondavis4169 USC almost won because they played better than I've seen from them all season. They went with a completely different offensive scheme, and the run game worked really well to set Dart up to have success.

Awful highlights, totally missed the end of the game

You never take Southern Cal for granted. I'm very pleased with the Cougars win.

Jackson mcchesney helped byu get the win when called for, I thought. And yes, Dart will be good.

Jason dart is going to be a Heisman candidate next year if he can keep his nose to the grind stone love his his style of play

4-7 this year we was really good when we played Vince young in the rose bowl for all the marbles now we are young young young on all levels except qb where we have experience at.

BYU had an unsportsmanlike penalty called on their head coach because USC was holding all game long and he finally ran on the field and yelled at the refs. Didn't change anything, but it was fun to watch.

They mentioned in the broadcast that before his senior year Jaxon Dart only had one offer. From his freshman year through his junior year in high school he played for Roy High School. The same school that Jim McMahon played at. Dart transferred before his senior year to the powerhouse of Utah high school football. However he played three years under Fred Fernandez. Just saying that good for him, but as an alumni from Roy, I saw the potential when he was a 9th grader attending junior high but playing high school football.

BYU and either Boise St. or Hawaii should be added to the pack 12.. how cool would it be to have your players travel to Hawaii to play football once every other year? BYU in the north, Hawaii in the south.. and interesting enough, both have the same type stadium.. and BYU already has UTAH as a rival but would now be inter conference, and could play their last game of the year against each other..

BYU has the rivalry with Utah and has the fan base in the West (a lot of LDS esp in UT, AZ) that would have made them a good fit for Pac 12, but being that they are a religious school (and supposedly not a "research based" school) they were left out of the Pac when they expanded to 12 and they will never be picked up by the Pac...and so they are going to the Big 12.

@@jeremims9044 Yes very true, they would have been a good fit in the PAC 12. At least a profitable one for the conference. When they play at PAC 12 schools they seem to have as many or more fans. They are definitely considered to be research school. From Wiki "BYU is designated as a research university with high research activity by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching". Maybe it was the religious angle although there are lots of religious schools in Power 5 conferences. So, no chance of being in the PAC 12 now because the conference picked Colorado instead. Great choice PAC 12!

The roughing the passer call I would say is the reason they lost the game. It sucks cause that bad call is the reason they are not getting a bowl. I’m not saying they are good by any means but they played better this game and honestly deserved the win.

The defender could have decided to not lead with his helmet into the QBs helmet and thus avoid any possibility of roughing the passer. Instead he chose to hit high a QB after he threw and the refs called it.

I don't disagree about the stupid roughing the passer call. But you can never say if that would've changed the whole game, because all of the playcalling changes based on that. Regardless, the refs also missed approximately 7,000 holding calls on SC's offensive line, including a blatant one on their last touchdown. So.... whatever.

I know a lot of usc fans are looking at the byu head coach as their next coach. But don’t forget Dave Aranda and baylor beat byu earlier this year

Honestly even the top four teams don’t seem to be powerhouses. I like it, means anyone can win it. No flashy Alabama or physical Ohio State nor lights out passing Clemson. I think next year will be better but for now I can the positive side to everyone being a little weakened this year

I mean if your team beat 6 power 5 teams in one year I would say you deserved to be ranked top 15 ? No matter how bad USC is they still had no business losing to BYU a school that recruits 2 to 3 star Mormons unacceptable
