Yeah, as the game went along you could see the dominance of Utah's offensive and defensive line as USC's fizzled out. And Utah has a couple of excellent tight ends that know how to catch and run. Their running backs had huge holes to run through also. And their defense got a great pass rush going. And if you notice Tyrone Whittingham stays at Utah, that's exactly what Oregon needs, a coach that doesn't bail on them. And now we've learned Oregon lost their offensive coordinator as he took the job at Arizona, or was it Arizona State? Well here's hoping Dan Lanning hangs around for a few years. Great programs are built when coaches stay.

The USC QB wrote "Fuck Utah" on his nails and everyone was saying we were just his speedbump before getting into the playoffs. Our Ute boys played their hearts out and played with class ❤️ what a game! Go Utes!!! 🙌

So now it looks like Oregon's strongest win came against Utah. Congrats to Utah winning the pac-12 championship and good luck in the Rose Bowl.

The Utes up their level of physicality and Caleb Williams ended up getting hurt and the USC offense lost their luster. Credit Coach Wittingham and this Utah football team for this unbelievable comeback

The best feeling in the world is when you can run the ball, and the other team can do absolutely nothing about it! I’m a former offensive linemen and we would run the ball 30-40x a game and pile up 300 rushing yards and it’s a great feeling to have

I’m a Penn St fan. I’ve been saying that Utah would be a much better fit in the BIG… Utah plays the same type of game as BIG teams do. Utah has a great head coach who could have any open job in the country..USC fans think they’re going to dominate the BIG they can have all the 5 star QB’s and WR they want they’re going to get a beating unless they get the dudes in the trenches..

Riley is a great coach. But Williams is generational QB. I think Williams makes them really good. Without Williams I don’t know what usc would be, maybe 2-4 losses ?

Shout out to Utah. Every year, for the last 20 years, they've gotten incrementally better and better. Former mid-level Mountain West team, to #1 MWC (along with TCU, another amazing program), to now being #1 PAC. Pretty amazing work by that athletic department.

20 years? They were undefeated in '04 and '08, finishing 4th and 2nd in the AP poll. They haven't gotten close to those heights since (we'll see where they land this year).

@@conehed1138 they weren’t at the point where they could go week to week with bigger programs though. This team has definitely improved in the last 20 years. Went from winning the MWC and one big name program in a bowl game to not just winning the PAC-12 in back to back years, but being 4-0 in the past two seasons against the 2nd best team in the PAC-12. They were both spankings in the PAC-12 champ games too. I’m pretty sure that’s the epitome of massive progress.

Utah's TE play is nasty! Took Utah a bit but they got rolling big time on both sides of the ball!!

This is a game that Williams will remember for the rest of his life. He gotta be having nightmares about that Utah pass rush.

considering his several injuries, this was a solid game from Williams. Statistically he played well (save for the meaningless interception), and I think its pretty clear that the rest of his team let him down. The run game was bad, the o line played horribly, and the defense couldnt tackle for their life. There really wasnt a whole lot he could do, and I think he is still alive in the heisman race

Some hard hitting football being played on that field. Congrats to Utah from a Dawg fan.

Williams needed to win one game. This one! Didn’t do it. Don’t tell me he was injured, the media made it seem like he was unstoppable. Utah played amazing. Loved how Urban Meyer (sp?), put it; they didn’t adjust, they had a game plan and stuck to it. Utah didn’t panic, and executed on both sides of the ball. Congratulations to Utes, full marks for an excellent win.

USC is well known for being incredibly explosive in their offense, and they really showed it in their dominance of the first quarter-- but once Utah started gaining momentum, they never stopped. Rock solid defense, combined with some absolutely absurd offensive plays, were all they needed to very literally push through to victory.

Big Trojans fan here … congrats to Utah and the way they played. USC’s offence was explosive all year but everyone saw how there defence played. Still sucks to know they lost but hopefully back in this position next year. Credit to Utah for playing a great game.

Bro didn't even *try* to wrap up on a couple of them. That's just bad coaching, straight up. I don't care if these guys were all walk-ons! No excuse! No one on this USC defense knew how to tackle. Embarrassing!

As a Florida fan it’s going to be tough playing against Utah on the road next year. Great win I’m looking forward to the rematch see you guys then

@@mikewhatley8237Florida had a huge environment advantage this year. Playing in the Swamp in September is difficult. However, Utah will have a huge advantage next year as well. RES is SUPER loud for a stadium with 54k capacity, and it’s 4500 feet above sea level. Florida will be gassed by the 4th

Honestly I think USC shot themselves in the foot. They've had so many turnovers through the season they never really needed to tackle, just strip the ball and get picks. When they play against a good coached team like Utah who hold onto the ball the defense collapse

Utah certainly looked like a top tier team in this game.

Wow Utah plays so tough in this game. Lots of fun to watch. Shhhh! Im not supposed to say that as a BYU fan, but I can appreciate good football when I see it

@@vegetaking1272 And Caleb doesn't get hurt. There's a huge random element to game outcomes, but him not doing his thing, Utah kept on scoring and SC had nothing. It wasn't just the 24 straight points I mentioned, it was 44-3 at the end. That's a big-ass butt whooping.

These two really went at it. Rising is some kinna tough. That hit was something. Caleb Williams fun to watch operate. Fans got a real treat in this game.

Great win for Utah. They are much better than their 3 losses imply. They had the Florida game won if not for the costly interception at the goal line with just seconds to play. It was just one of those years where the mistakes in their games came at crucial moments. Hope they win their bowl game.

WOW... USC didn't expect that. Thought Utah was going to lose it given the many "amateur" mistakes at first. But they came back and just dominated.

Utah need to be in the playoff this team is phenomenal 😬

Kyle is definitely one of the best coaches in the country. This guy could easily have an NFL job. Glad he’s avoided it this far. I’d hate to see him leave for an SEC school but wouldn’t be surprised at all.

When Caleb got hurt it was trouble, the one trump card SC had was his mobility and big time playmaking with his legs. When he was going on all cylinders in the 1st quarter Utah couldn't figure out how to contain him. His injury made him one dimensional and the Utes could just stay home on everyone, made it very hard to for SC to keep the offense up. Utah is just a more complete team at this point. Caleb could have pulled some magic out of his hat if he was 100% and willed them to a victory MAYBE, but tbh the Trojans would have gotten exposed badly in the CFP coz their defense is just not there yet. A recruiting class or two will change that though. Great season by SC for a 1st year with a new regime, but tbh even as a Trojan fan, i think they ended up where they probably should be. It was a bit of an overachieving season for them.

@@staysolid19 they were the better team. All I'm saying is a fully healthy Caleb would have given SC a shot. After the game he revealed it was a hammy pull he suffered after that long run. It's not coincidence that shortly after that Utah was able to get a collar on him much more often. He wasn't mobile like he usually is.

@gman7497 idk I think utah defense settled down and started getting to usc he didn't start limping right away it wasn't till a couple possessions after in the second he started limping . And if no reports come out that he really hurt himself bad it's all bs

What a game. That QB for USC has a cannon. That #3 for Utah is a hoss. Hats off to that QB for Utah to take that hit and keep going. Beautiful 👍

I stated this many times that Kyle Whittingham is the best college football coach in the game. No 5 star players and he produces some great teams.

Tip of the cap to them Utes. They played my buckeyes incredibly tough last year. That’s a good team that always play with their hair on fire. They may not have the talent, but they always up their play.

All you had to do was watch Utah's first drive and see how easily they were rushing to know they were going to win. The stronger rusher almost always wins because it is significantly not consistent than throwing.

USC was flying on the 1st quarter but wow Utah came back hard. Congrats!

Our program is back, that's what I care most about. We will have tough luck some years but by all appearances we are gonna be in the conversation for quite awhile. We have skill players for days, but we need some beef, our defense fights and is opportunistic but we got physically manhandled way too often on the line. When freaking Cal can march down the field on us, something is lacking. Caleb and the offense was so brilliant it covered up alot of flaws but it caught up to us against Utah, unfortunately.

Even if I picked Utah win the game I didn't see this coming I'm sure USC didn't either Lol Utah defense will be reason Caleb Williams sleep in ice tub tonight and tomorrow Caleb Williams was beat to hell n back congrats on team win go Utes 👍👏
