A campaign by Oliviero Toscani would have brought light to child exploitation right in your face, he would have never put easter eggs for the public to discover. Very SICK campaign and nothing was accidental in its product placement and production. Demna and Lotta along with Balenciaga need to be cancelled ASAP. Damn right its unforgivable. Why aren't more people also speaking out about the "art" being sold by the world famous Christie's auction house? It's owned by the same man who owns the parent company to Balenciaga. They're selling mutilated life size dolls of toddlers who have genitals in place of noses and mouths. Jake and Dinos Chapman are responsible for this "art" The listing claims the item is made of fiberglass, but it looks like silicone to me.

Might as well stop shopping at Neimans, Saks, Nordstrom and Bergdorf because those stores continue to carry Balenciaga and visually display them. Also Gucci, McQueen, Ysl ….dont buy from them either because they are under the same corporate umbrella. Also know that Chanel, Hermes, Dior remain quiet, also note the CEO of Balenciaga are very good pals with the family of Hermes.

What I’m opposed to is the idea that it’s somehow a distinctly “European” thing, as though it’s some ingrained Greco-Roman tradition that’s been passed down from generation to generation. I spent so much time last week trying to determine *why* they placed legal docs in that photo-shoot (still haven't found any explanation). You've summed this up perfectly: their heart isn't' in the right place.

I was on the verge of getting a le cagole bag in the pre-Black Friday sales. Sooo pleased I didn’t. It would be on its way back to them now! I was gonna get a crisp packet bag next year. I wont be doing that now either. The whole thing is just sooo sick! They should be cancelled!

Also really nice to hear someone speak about Cortney Love and how brave she was, everybody’s hating her but she spoke up and it cost her her career. Europe isn’t a country though, I’m Swedish and our laws are very strict on child abuse and child p….graphy, stricter than in USA. Yeah, I never like Vetements either. Never saw what was great about the clothes, I hated the runway shows and the way the models looked deranged. The statement Balenciaga and Demna came out with was so weak. They KNEW what they did and thought they could get away with it. Then they got called out and blame everyone else. Dacob, I agree with you, the only way the brand can survive is to get rid of all of these people who were involved with this absolutely disgusting ad campaign. Balenciaga is the icky Marilyn Manson vibe of fashion. In the 90s he was part of that grung era I loved so much but damn, he did NOT hide the fact he was a gross asshole. That's what THIS year of Balenciaga says to me. Its not punk, its not grunge. Like you said, it's embarrassing. There's no artistic POV its only shock-value garbage to get people talking about the brand.

Lotta Volkova brazenly and openly posts ‘artistic’ imagery depicting brutal abuse of children and then when the controversy breaks, she slinks away to the shadows waiting for the dust to settle… If she thinks she is doing nothing wrong, why hide away like that? If she gets to collaborate with other brands in the future, they don’t CARE and we all need to keep our eyes wide open. Please keep us updated! 👀

Why should you be put out of pocket. That is absolutely not fair for you or anyone who bought these items 😘

We need to get rid of them. We also need to contour to put pressure on the celebrities who are completely quiet. The very same celebrities who are quick to shove their opinions down our throat for literally every single political agenda out there. It's absolutely ridiculous and appalling.
