If you think about it, Soul Society really sent the 4 scariest captains aside old man Yama to Huecho Mundo. Like its terrifying to think of fighting any of them given their abilities. Yama really went with the shock and awe approach.

So in the manga Szayel's revival after getting eaten was way more explicit. He straight up impregnated himself in Nemu, expanded her then preceded to come out of her mouth all slimy🤣

And this is where Mayuri became my favorite 👌 He's a menace and I love him because of that.

Fun fact now that you're to the point: In the novel Szayelaporro was the strongest Espada because he didn't separate from his brother ( the one Renji killed ) and was one of the very few Vasto Lordes presented. Kenpachi even praised him

Before he removed his brother from himself while he was a Vasto Lorde he was Espada 0, but after he did both he and his brother fell to Adjuchas, both being severely weakened. The one in the novels is actually Cien Granz, a clone to my understanding.

Banzai is basically a battlecry. Japanese soldiers used to love using it during WW2.

These are the kinds of fights I appreciate the most, any other captain would have a harder time fighting this Espada. The fact that Byakuya defeat him based on his gimmick rather than just pure strength makes the whole "espadas are stronger than captains" more believable

It was never that espada's were stronger than captains though, its that the potential of Vasto Lorde exceed captains and thus 10 Vasto Lorde arrancar would overwhelm the squads.

@@bbmakaro3440 Being able to fully puppet someone is hardly something I would call weak, Byakuya had to cut his arm and leg to escape his control. And besides he is supposedly stronger than Szayel who is bodying Renji and Uryu no diff and had almost the same level of speed as Byakuya, one of the fastest captains of the Gotei 13 which makes it obvious that he would body almost any Lieutenant level. I can totally see a world where he is able to take down a captain like Hitsugaya or Mayuri whose powers are physical things that can be controlled. Byakuya's Bankai is just too OP

I agree entirely. The espada get a little slack for being overhyped but almost everyone is beat using an underhanded tactic or a hard counter. I can only think of a small number of espada who where actually overpowered 1v1 and those who where lost to the exceptions amongst the shinigami rather than the average

What mayuri did was one of the most cruel ways to go in bleach so far. Every other battle has been cut your enemy down etc. he the only one that made his opponent suffer lol.

It happened in Slime... the old man was fighting the isekai dude and cut off his head while the head kept going at a million percent... so he was aware of his own decapitation for "hours"... Rimuru did the same thing to Clayman during the Walpurgis...

Yeah, the drug Mayuri uses here basically has the same effect as Gojo's domain expansion in JJK. Infinite information to the point the brain cannot process it.

24:50 This whole scene is a censored one. What actually happened is apollo actually impregnated Nemu and she gave birth to a full grown reincarnate apollo and not whatever happen here. And his release is actually call "fornicate" and not whatever it was call last few episodes ago.

Banzai is actually a Japanese war cry that it's usually tied to the idea of a kamikaze strike or a last stand. So basically Zommari was praying his god Aizen before giving his life in battle

If I were to use Dio's word of wisdom that "The most evil is the one that brings over others with their own misfortune" It's Frieza hands down. Frieza destroyed Namek when he is about to lose to Goku and continues to seek revenge after that lost. While Mayuri's actions are just rooted to logic and efficiency to a fault.

Mayuri could've just killed Szayel but he choose to torture this man with the slowest death possible. Also he does human experiments, both on Quincys and on regular souls all the time and he even destroyed souls in the sereitei in TYBW. If you think about it killing someone in Bleach or DB doesn't mean much since there is an afterlife but Mayuri straight up destroyed souls, literally whipping them out of existence. Imagine dying and going to afterlife thinking you would reincarnated but instead you get erased from existence by a mad scientist lmao

For something to be "Pure Evil" it should be void of any reason nor emotion. Mayuri is always experimenting. Its more of curiosity to himthan actually sadism. He is testing the superhuman potion in action in this fight. And in the Quincy annihilation, well the current season explained why they need to do it.

The Nazis also thought they had a reason, and they also did both the genocide part and the horrible human experiences just like Mayuri lol. Every bad person ever thinks they have a reason, even Frieza: in his mind he is the emperor of the universe, so he can do whatever shit he wants because everything belongs to him. Doing evil without having a reason is bordering more of a amoral/insane character then a truly evil one

@@gabrieldossantos1116 i am not saying having reasons justify the evil deed. We are just setting a hypothetical measurement standard on how evil someone is compared to another. And in this scenario we are setting that the one farthest from the realm logic can be considered the more evil one. For example. If you compared someone who commit genocide to preserve the balance of the world to someone who do the exact same thing just because he can, then you can see clearly who is more evil than the other.

I don't get how Byakuya is far from the strongest capitain level... His bankai and its different forms and range... Maybe the difference lies in reiatsu.

Who said he isn't tho? At this point in time Byakauya is easily the 4/5th strongest captain after Yamaji, Shunsui, Ukitake, Byakauya/Kenpachi(note:there is one person stronger than Shunsui n Ukitake but don't want to spoil).

Byakuya is quite young by Soul Reapers standards even if he seems older, as one of bthe main noble houses his Reiatsu is naturally quite high, and his shikai/bankai are very powerfull. but he still lacks some experience and deeper understanding of his Zanpakuto, and as i said he is quite young and not at his prime yet. during this arc he is somewhere in the middle of the pack when it comes to all the captains strengthes. that includes Aizen Gin and Tousen on that list as well.

I could say he is the strongest among the weakest. Weakest here i meant for those younger generation like toshiro, soifon etc.., while strongest group those live far longer with vast amount of reiatsu & exp.
