Nice, I just ordered the phase 2 BXA, that Bostar one looks decent quality for the price!

Yeah I've had not many troubles with mine, the set screws in the Bostar are really well made in my opinion, except for the cutoff one, I ended up buying a real Aloris cut off quick change (they fit perfectly by the way), I messed up the wedge clamping screw on the head (stripped out the head of the screw), they quickly replaced it so they do seem to have good customer service, honestly I think the head on that tightening wedge system for cut off blade is a odd size and I may have not had the correct one, I did try several ones and none seemed to fit like all their other set screws on the rest of the package, those have all been very very good.

Question if you have a moment. Do you have a finish of some sort on your cross slide? It looks like it is colored something other than bare metal. In fact I was thinking that maybe it is Cerkote? Anyhow, nice video. I just purchased a Phase II for my lathe and it is going back. Way too much slop in it. For the money, it was not worth it.

No its raw metal, I did use some Boeshield Rust Remover on that part to remove some surface rust then Boeshield T9 as well on top of that, the rust remover tends to slightly darken the metal I think, doesn't seem to reform rust though, I think I read somewhere it causes a chem reaction and produces some sorta layer, but I could be wrong

Just got my first BXA, like you say, till you hold it you just dont get it.
