Many thanks Malik, great information. You mentioned a few things that I never thought of before. The idea of no caves I had never thought of. I always though the caves would be hiding spots, but you're right that they are actually breeding spots, so I agree about the method to curb premature aggression. Great to get such valuable information from you and Dr. Thomas.

g;ad you enjoyed it Michael! yes the juvenile aggression can easily kill some of the weaker fish so its best to keep them non reproductive until you are ready for them to breed ;) Cheers mate!

Hey Malik. Great video! Really like the way you describe the fish and so on. It's so nice to see how much you know and care about the fish 🤩🐠 You have talked alot about how to get more viewers and I have a few suggestions, if I may 😅 1. Please use cm as well as inches. The same for liters and gallons. It just makes its more appealing for European like me, I just get a bit lost otherwise 😬 2. Just an idea, but maybe make some short video's descripting each familie of the loricarioidea (or how it's spelled)? Like you do with the Zebras, I know some will be the same, but maybe point out some major differences between keeping a peckoltia vs a panaque 🤔 Its just very chill and nice to watch you talk about these beautiful cathfish😁🤩 You really have some good intel which I have never heard before. (The part with not keeping caves untill adoult age) Also nice to see you give your plecos sand and not just the standard clean glass. Cheers from Denmark

Great video again thanks for the very useful informations for the beginers. Am having some doubts regarding the substrate in the growing tank,In between your videos showing Dr.Thomas tank setup with clay substrate and I noted that there is no plants also .Can you please commend on that .Also please mention about the filtration setup in the growing tank.

plants are optional .. the clay substrate helps to buffer ph but you can plant in it if you desire ! growing tanks can be filtered with sponge filters ( which is what I use) i will try and cover these more in upcoming videos!

can you pls make a video on when are zebs ready to breed, size, age, when to hit them with low tds and all the breeding trigers ?

Hey bro thank you for making these videos they have made me way more confident in buying my 10 zebra’s, I was wondering do you have a way that I can contact you for a quick conversation about this please?

I understand you suggest buying a whole clutch when possible. But what size aquarium do you recommend? If I buy 10 pleco's can they go in a 40 breeder? Or should I look at putting then into like a 75 Gallon?

if the fish are over 3 years then they are mature enough to breed ! under 2.5 years not ready yet! thats the easiest way to tell! Ill try to cover these in more detail, in the upcoming videos! cheers!
