There are so many negative reviews on Horton homes. I even spoke to a woman who works in RE who bought a Horton home in Sebastian and said never again. I hope you have a better experience going forward.

Overall I had a good experience! Few hiccups, but at the end of the day, new construction is so much more affordable compared to the inflated re-sale homes we see on the market today. It also depends on the contracting crew that they have working on the build! I kept tabs on the home, visited it every week, talked to the workers, and I think that won me some brownie points! I did just close on a Dr Horton property in Crystal Bay (In Micco), and the paint job was SOO sloppy compared to mine! But we blue taped everything, it got fixed, and the client was happy. I'll make sure to post an update video after a few years to show how the house is holding up and if I have had any problems.
Thanks for sharing. Did you purchase the vacant land first and pick DR Horton as the constructor? Or the land was purchased from DR Horton too?

The lot was included in the price!
I live in a DR Horton home.. they got sued a few times... the home is of decent quality... they make like 25% profit on their builds... My neighbor works for DR Horton and he is an asshole... :)
