V50 with the legendary 2.4 D5 is a rare thing. Most V50s are either 2.0d or the eco 1.6d . 150K+ miles... that's only just run in for a D5. Looks like a SE LUX speck with decent colour combo. Get the windscreen checked though Matt. They are well known for de-bonding along the top edge and letting water inside. It'll explain the excessive condensation & mould found inside this V50. Volvo UK know all about this issue and if you speak to them nicely they will get it re bonded FOC, it that still has the original windscreen in place. Also being the D5 (185 PS) engine get the Aux belt & tensioner changed ASAP as they are known to snap prematurely. Volvo had a recall few years back on these and halved their service life down to 54K miles intervals. Currently there's a Volvo re call on both front seat belt anchor points... worth getting that done as well.

Thanks Matt great video. Some of these cars have problems with poor bonding of the windscreen at the factory. This is a source of water ingress. Also suspect sunroof drain holes and tubing in the A pillars. Water sloshing side to side in front of the driver is water that has leaked into a horizontal crossmember on the bulkhead beneath the screen. Volvo has a simple diy fix listed in their service manual (drill holes under the wheel arches basically). Sorry that’s long....

I got my Mum to buy it as a surprise for my Dad. We still have the car- paid £2k back then and its in really good original condition. Common problem with the sunroof on these would be the drain tubes going down the A and B pillars. there’s like 3 or 4 different connections on each corner when the tubing can become perished and expand over time which separates the connections, which leads to rain water leaking into the cabin
