Buying A 3rd Gen Ram with a 5.9 CUMMINS TURBO DieSEL for JUST $5,300!
In this video I show you me buying a Super Cheap 3rd Generation Dodge Ram 2500 with a Cummins! It has an aftermarket exhaust could use some paint work. I also show what I did after buying the truck, what parts/upgrades I bought, and what issues I fixed on the truck. In doing so, I go through many of the pros and cons of a third gen Dodge Ram 2500. In future videos, I will cover the rest of the build on this 3rd gen ram!

Man thats awesome! I just picked up my first diesel last week and its a 2006 2500 cummins. My buddy sold it to me for 2500 and it basically just needed a transmission rebuild which was $2500. I cant wait to start building it up the way I want.

I got my 04 4 door dually nv5600 with my custom built aluminum flat bed cummins for $5,000. 164,000 miles. The old man who owned it prior to me owned it since new and lives half a mile away. Lives on my typical bike ride / jog route. I saw the truck growing up and now she’s mine.

I got my 3rd gen for 5 thousand and all it needed was a new parking needle in the transmission cause it wouldn’t go back into park
4:35 is Bellemare truck transporting a section of wing turbine, that's my job heavy mechanic, im from quebec so it's a HUGE coincidence to see it in your video lol, wish the video was cleaner to look what unity number was. 60 xxx ... who know lol

Here in Florida You can’t even find these trucks for that cheap, I went with my friend to a dealership to buy a 3rd gen and the turbo was shot and the engine had so much blow-by and they still wanted 20K for the damn thing

Nah, that surface rust is underneath that fender as well. Better to get one without rust and replace it. Probably the reason the right side fender color is not as faded. Rear panels? Might as well cut that out and put a skin over it. Then paint the whole truck with Spray-in Bed Liner.

How do you pay off someone's loan? Doesn't it take weeks for the loan office to send the title and all that?

It depends on the state and bank. I've paid off loans like here where the title was collected that that moment and that bank branch, other times I've mailed a check to the corporate HQ (BMW Financial) and other times it's taken weeks/month to get (my 2015 silverado) just to name a few. Institutions differ.

What state are you in? I'm sure you can find one for that price without rust in the southwest. Tough to do in the mnidewest or northeast becuase rust free demands a premium

Max Karg I’m in northwest Florida so it should’ve be that hard to find one without rust but I’ve been looking for a while for a third gen and haven’t seen one on marketplace in months. I might have to settle for a 2cd gen but the transmission and dashboard problems are concerning.
