    I added a tiny amount of weld to the front pins of my mag , then filed them to centre up to the al hole ,it is amazing how little you need for the pinion shaft to swing around . I think your old girl deserves a strip down and paint up 🙂 .cheers.

    Nice videos ! I think you need to turn the engine in running rotation to take up the slack in the gears on the timing side.

    You're missing the felt oil filter sprung top hat. They were missing on all my Beezer singles too. Didn't know there was supposed to be one. The pressed metal clutch baskets haven't stood the test of time. A common UK fix is to replace it with a Triumph clutch with an adaptor. I did that on my M21. Night and day....

    Hey , I just bought a 54 bsa b33, the triumph clutch adapter is pn 42-3170A This one I just ordered for mine It goes on a bit further up the taper than the 42-3170 , mine has the early 4 spring clutch basket T100 .cheers .

    There are shims that go under the mag to set the correct amount of clearance between the gear and the one it turns with. Too much clearance messes with the timing consistancy and too tight causes a weird noise when it runs.
