You are everything I’ve ever wanted in a baking teacher! In the past I’d spend ages looking for examples of what happens when a certain ingredient or aspect is adjusted, or I’d try it myself making a big ol’ mess in the process. Not only do your videos provide so much info in such a short and sweet slice, you also make these shorts feel so warm and welcoming. I think you’re really onto something here with your format and I wish you all the best in your creative efforts 💌 Thank you for getting me excited about baking again!

@@benjaminthebaker I baked them too! I have some questions if you don’t mind, should the pastry dough be pretty thin when we roll them out to cut them? And what level rack in the oven do you recommend for these? Mine turned out a bit burnt sadly, but I just scraped it off and they were still delicious 😂

  • @xolio1993

@@hannahwillis9838 I’d say like 1/4 inch thick. Like how you’d roll a sugar cookie dough out. Id say the middle rack, or which rack in your experience isn’t too close to the heat source. My oven is veryyyy slow but his timings were perfect for me. Maybe check yours earlier because yours is slightly better at cooking. Check 10-15 min earlier. Know which rack from other cooking will cook the most moderately. I hope this helps you. :-)
