Butt and Core Challenge 2

I hope everything is going well so far. I know you might be bored of week one's routine... I promise you won't have to ever do it again after this week! We are starting off a bit slower again because I added new exercises that work parts of your body we didn't really touch last week(like our back). Anyways, we still have 4 more weeks to make things harder and really challenge ourselves!! After this week, the routines will get longer :) But remember to not overwork yourself! Or work yourself harder if needed ;) Remember, this is NOT a follow along with me video. Go at your own pace!
This week...
Day 1 - week one routine(warm up), week two routine 1 time
Day 2 - week one routine(warm up), week two routine 1 time
Day 3 - week one routine(warm up), week two routine 2 times
Day 4 - break
Day 5 - week one routine(warm up), week two routine 2 times
Day 6 - week one routine(warm up), week two routine 3 times
Day 7 - break
...and these are the exercises listed out so you don't have to go through the vid again if you forget something.
-on one knee... lift your leg up to the side 5 times then lean your upper body over 5 times.
- twice on both sides
-upward plank, then tuck knee in and feel your abs work
-10 time
-crunch circles with legs on floor
-10 each direction
-crunch circles with legs to sky
-10 each direction
-superman pose while bringing arms and legs out and in
-10 times
-10 regular squats
-10 with feet pointing out to the side

    I will try these out myself. I have a Dance class in 2 months and need to tone my muscles and adapt the body into a Ballet/Gymnast. Looks fun after all that sweat and effort

    Hi Lisa! Thank you for all your videos so far! :) Was just wondering on the Week 2 challenge of the part: "Lying on your tummy and lift the arms and legs as far behind as we can" I have troubles lifting my back/chest off the ground (i cant even stay off the ground a little, I think my back muscles are really weak) Is there any exercises to help with improving it? Hope to hear from you soon, thank you! :)

    Hi :) thanks! well that exercise will help improve it if you just keep working at it :) try keeping your legs on the floor and see if you can go any higher... Just be careful you don't feel it too much in your lower back... Just start with lifting only your arms and then the shoulders a tiny bit off the ground... you might want to start rolling your back everyday on a foam roller and stretch it out :)

    Hi Lisa. My ex brags about her legs from having been a gymnast, brags about her "gymnast legs." She says even her feet look strong..., she loses in all the above categories to you. ;) lol Have a great day.

    in squats, what is the difference of going lower or stay as you? can somebody please reply because im confused

    Hello friend. You activate exactly the same muscles but you put emphasis in different sections of this muscle. This mean that the lower you go the bigger the tension to the section of the quad that is close to your hips. If you are higher you strengthen the part that its aroung the knee. Also when you do a deep squad you lengthen the inner thigh muscles and strengthen the hip muscles. Resting in deep squat is a health investement. Personaly I don't find a reason not to go deep, unless you are not currently able to or you are weak in a particular range of motion and you want to put emphasis on it .But your goal should be to go deeper and deeper. I hope that after three years you will found the answer😀.

    Can't seem to find anything I like for my vids yet that yt will allow me to use... Until then you can listen to your favorite songs while you workout...whatever you want :)

    +Lisa Maree I think there are many people also on KZread who upload music that you can use for your vidios. Do you know Kathryn Morgan? She makes ballet videos where she uses her own music maybe you can ask her for music that you can use ;)

    thank you :) hehe no bf or gf at the moment unfortunately :P Yes this works for guys too of course! They are just bodyweight exercises and will strengthen you if they challenge you... yeah but if it's too easy and you're looking to gain muscle faster then you will need to hold weights where you can. I usually hold weights whenever one or both of my arms are free. It's great to try new exercises/work some different areas and keep your body balanced... these exercises work and stretch a lot of different areas at once helping with overall body movement (super important will help prevent serious injuries hah) and I am doing this challenge really varied every week to keep that up and get an overall great body workout but focus it on the core and butt and make sure we get those areas nice and sore :D I hope that answers your question well enough :P
