Maybe, but not exactly. Ealier, Eren didn't know anything about the genesis of his enemies but now he is fully aware and pissed that he couldn't find a better option (from the beginning he was seeking for freedom but now he's aware that he isn't free because he doesn't have much of a choice). I guess that during the rumbling he returned to his childish thinking "I'll wipe out every last one" in order to forget about his awareness that he is killing also the innocent people; to be mentally able to finish what he started.

It’s also the same score that played when the colossal broke the wall if I’m not mistaken. The lyrics fit really well when you know the meaning. The earth roars and turns red The people remember that tragedy Is this the destroyer or the creator? With the blaze of hate we swing the swords Is that our fate or our will? We will fight until this hot wind takes our wings What will we find beyond this horizon?

Its crazy when you think of the extreme lengths Eren will go to save his friends; amputating himself, stabbing out his own eye, becoming the world's enemy and crushing everyone. He would literally sacrifice everything for them, his own humanity, and the whole world. That scene of the rumbling at the end, with the og "ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn" soundtrack, was both beautiful and terrifying. It brings everything full circle; the series began with the fear of one single Colossal Titan instilled into the people of Paradis. Now, Eren is instilling that fear to the whole world with the Colossals, a million times over.

This assumes the fundamental reasoning behind his actions is to save his friends and not because he wants the world to be how he thought it was. An assumption which is not accurate. And if you take a good look at the colossal's body structure which is strange, the legs and feet are disproportionately more muscular than the skinny arms and hands compared, so they can swim that fast without even using their upper limbs, it makes even more sense because they have more strength in the lower limbs

No matter how this show ends, Attack on Titan was able to give me an almost child-like wonder that I thought was long lost when it came to a work of cinema. I had become mostly numb to every other movie/show genre out there and had seemed to have lost that "awe" that came with it. But watching Attack on Titan brought back the adrenaline of watching an action scene for the first time. It gave back the magic of being immersed in a fantasy world for the first time. It brought back the emotional experience of being attached to a group of characters for the first time. It gave back the horror of watching a scary scene for the first time. It brought back the thrill of a good mystery. It gave back the wonder of an epicly written soundtrack that fit perfectly with the scene. It brought back the immersion of a well written story. All in all, it brought back the pride for being able to witness history being made with a work of cinema. Thank you Hajime Isayama, Hiroyuki Sawano, WIT, MAPPA, and everyone who had a part in bringing to life this masterpiece.

The rumbling must succeed. This is so sad. Not only because its the end of aot for a while, but because it also means a long pause to a journey I've been looking forward to for so much time: my journey with you, that is. Your aot reactions were something I based my schedule on every day, and now I will be missing a highly important portion of my daily happiness source; because you made my day so many times... Waiting for your reactions, being part of the growth of your community, farming the "I survived to part 1 and 2 of aot liveaction" role up until 4 am... it was majestic; it was wholesome. Sadly, the shows you are planning on watching are some I didn't get the opportunity to watch myself just yet, and I'm aware some of them are just too great to see edited for the first time, which means, I'm afraid our paths may have to split for a while, but it'll only be a semicolon, ill promise. Perhaps ill consider getting your patreon or member, so I can see the shows for the first time by your side; but I'm not really loose when it comes to money, so ill have to make a decition, just like I did when purchasing your "all I got was this shitty t-shirt" from the aot life action reactions. All said, I hope you got the opportunity to read me, and maybe that way we can share this one more moment together, just like we did for the past month, but this time its me who is posting and exposing its emotions to you. Farewell, and see you soon. I'ts been truly amazing :) From Geeko (in discord), the one kid who once got the honour to be recognized by you with the phrase: "I love your Armin profile pic".

I was looking forward to you reacting exactly like that in every scene xD. For people as empathic as you crying bout details more than about deaths, this Episode is just heartstabbing. This flashback with its osts and all hurt so much. The details like Eren asking Mikasa (to prove himself wrong that the future can be changed bc she could not answer as he saw in the memories); the pickpocket getting and Ymir scene, Erens whole perfect facial expressions that show how he slowly fades away every scene we see him. And then that drinking scene were they have the most fun off all episodes ever dropped, while in the exact same moment in the show he kills the same people... what a tradedgy. An artistic masterpiece and a 1 in 100years show, but an absolute damaging tradedgy. Love your reaction :D would be happy to see sum Your lie in april its a bit more colorful and happy at all x)

Ppl be sympathizing with Eren, but they don't realize the creator of AoT on purpose created him as an almost exact copy of a certain german/austrian man during World War II lmao. Isayama however is a genius for doing that. Very fine show of how world is not so black or white, we all bonded with Eren throughout these years as a character, but despite being anime... it translates to real life, and that is one of many reasons why history always repeats itself. Very well-made show.

If you think about it, Eren has always wanted freedom that's another main reason why he wants to do this the ability to finally be able to experience something not chained by the weight of the world. Wished Mikasa told him how she felt, but in the heat of the moment its understandable trying to talk about all of your feelings in one moment. Now we are in the true final stage next part 3 and I'm excited to see you react to it!

As much as I love Armin, the way he remembered Bertholdt saying 'Somebody has to paint their hands in blood' before Connie shot Daz and Samuel was real damn ironic when they are actually trying to stop Eren who is making all these sacrifices not just for Paradis but for them specifically. That sentence from a group such as the alliance was made to be laughed at. Wrong sure, but its the only way that will save them and imo its understandable and justified. Im on Eren's side no matter what. He went through too much for anybody, let alone a child which many forget he still is, for me to think he should give up.

In short, this is what their dialogue meant. Eren: I'm gonna rumble the world, so don't follow zeke's plan and shut the f*ck up about it. Historia: No, Eren, not saying anything about it would mean live with the world's blood in my hands. Eren: You can, you said that you're the enemy of humanity yourself, and the worst girl in the world. Historia: ...ok then, I will do it, but just for myself. I will find a random man (the farmer) and get pregnant so that they will not be able to drag me in zeke's plan and I will be safe. With this, Historia is basically following what Ymir told her, "Live just for yourself". She's accepting to be selfishly responsible for the rumbling to protect herself. But, at the same time, Ymir also told her to live a life she was proud of. And...she isn't doing it. She certainly isn't proud of being responsible for all those innocent lives took by Eren. She certainly isn't proud to be impregnated by a random man just to be safe. But the interesting part about the end of her character arc, is that Ymir acted selfish, but was the most selfless, while Historia was selfless her whole life, and choose to be selfish when Eren put her in this horrible situation. Eren also did it for her, because she's one of his closest friends, but this was a horrible thing that he did.
