This fight is considered to be one of the biggest upsets in sports history, but in my opinion it's the greatest! At the time, people considered Mike Tyson to be an unstoppable invincible force of nature, especially after the Marvis Frazier fight. Not a single soul believed that Buster Douglas had even a chance of winning. Most men who were betting on the fight weren't betting on who would win, but on what round Mike Tyson would win by KO! Yet Buster Douglas managed to win through the determination he got from his mother! He truly shocked the world!

The stars aligned, Douglas had the reach, the jab and the fortitude unlike any fight he fought before. Mike Tyson brought the best out in Douglas, and Tyson was obviously not focused in his preparation. Still, a great fight by the huge underdog Buster who could have quit after being almost knocked out in Round 8, but he didn't fight scared.
