Bushwhacker 10FB - Andy's mods

The SE Bushwhacker camper gathering gave us the opportunity to tour and review some amazing teardrop trailers. I couldn't believe the mods and rebuilds that people were able to do to their Free Solo and Bushwhacker campers. Check out Andy's Bushwhacker trailer mods for some inspiration!

I always enjoy your videos. I have a similar shower unit (Quick-en-suite). I cut the back panel out and can now access it from inside. It’s my favorite addition to my camper.

Bryan here, I watched your Hiker series multiple times and I ordered a Midrange at the end of May . I just picked it up and camped in the mountains of NC . I watched your videos on power and got my own battery which is a Odyssey Extreme group 31 deep cycle AGM TPPL battery. It is awesome. It is able to cycle down lower than a normal AGM. I didn’t get solar from Hiker, a modest solar panel should work well. I enjoy watching , thanks for the great content .

I like the bayonet-style caps for ac venting on the roof. Wonder how that works in the rain though? Could be easy enough to pop elbows on it and make a small run to get under the solar panels. Great stuff. I like his little BougeRV battery/shunt/controller setup too!

I wondered about that too, I think the water runs right down through where the condensation drains. After looking at it, I didn't think he was concerned about water getting in there because it comes down onto the pan. Either way, elbows would be good. Hope you're well, any cracker docking lately?
