Looks cool. I use a couple pieces of 2x10 screwred together and a 4 foot pipe that goes through it, slide it under the frame, push the pipe down and the bike stands up. Slide the pipe halfway through and it locks the stand on place. Same purpose, not as pretty. But built out of scrap so the price was right. Stores against the wall. These jacks make most maintenance super easy. I do like the way you can move the bike around when lifted. Mine of course is rooted where ya put it.

I recently purchased one of these, mostly because my wife was complaining about how much space my bike was taking up. Best $600 i ever spent. I wish it would have come with the plate. Not an added purchase.

  • @CycleCruza

Pricey but worth it. They had to make the plate a separate purchase because it's specific for each bike.

  • @Striple

Once the bike is on his stand it looks great. When you put the bike down I had my doubts... was your other hand free or did it hold the camera? It might work with both hands free for the job... nice that you can move it around.

looks like there would be no need in putting the kickstand up, should be able to roll the outer leggs between the kickstand and the rear tire without problem. next time, dont lock the outer 2 wheels b4 you set the pin in the holding slot... less of a hassle....just saying, because it looks it to me that it would be easier. stay safe , and tk you for sharing your experiences with us! awsome vlog !!

Yeah but is wayyyyyyy better than any front/rear stand, it's so awesome to move the bike around with ease and no stand in the way. No tripping over a stand anymore. It's worth the extra money. You figure a set of pitbull stands runs close to $400 for a set, this is just an extra $200 but wayy better.

CycleCruza Bulletproof?? WTF?? Why would you shoot at your bike while it's on the stand?? That's not really an argument. It also looks kinda weird and impractical: holding the bike upright, whilst putting it in place and adjusting the height, ALL at the same time. Then while holding everything in place you need to screw in the 19mm screw.

CC that's a lot of weight concentration on just 2 points. It would be safe to find out if ducati recommends concentrating all the weight on those points. I understand that dynamic load when u ride the bike will b probably more than the static loads, but the angle at which the loads r acting is also very important.

Too much trouble for me. I use a regular motorcycle jack with wheels under it. No matter what you use, you have to be careful of tipping the bike. Also your Ducati is a light weight bike, as opposed to trying to use that to lift a seven or eight hundred pound bike. With a heavy bike you would need someone to balance the bike while another person slides the jack into place. No thanks.

CycleCruza Yeah, looks solid once it’s set up. But the whole getting it on the stand part looks a bit fiddly.

Daniel JEYES I had one on my old race bike. Utterly brilliant. Very sturdy.
